Great SUV for travelling the DC area in comfort and with ample storage space. Pick up and drop off conveniently at shady grove metropolitan station.
2006 Nissan XterraMark's Xterra1544
The car needed a lot of maintenance work. I was in the process of moving and needed a large vehicle, which it did serve its purpose. However, it had a lot of issues. I believe this car should not be driven until it's received a 120 point maintenance check. The biggest issues is that you can't put it in drive even after warming up the car for awhile. To get moving I would have to put it in D2 and then after driving on that for 5 minutes I would switch gears to drive. It also needs a front alignment being that the car easily eases to the left, when the car is in idle mode there's a rough noise coming from the engine, and when you turn the wheel the car makes a screetching noise as if the timing belt is about to break. Keep in mind that the car has over 240,000 miles, but it just did not seem safe for me to drive because I thought it would've stopped in the middle of the road. I wouldn't have drove 45 miles out of the way and paid for this vehicle if I knew about all these issues. Mark was a good guy and great with communication, BUT this vehicle was not worth the money nor qualifies for people to drive it through this app.
There was literally nothing about this experience that wasn't awesome. Márk was a phenomenal person to coordinate with. The car was great, and when I needed to extend Mark was totally cool and accommodating. Will definitely be renting from him again and probably this car if it's available.
