Great communication, easy pick up and drop off. Audi Q5 was pretty dirty, nothing a quick wash didn't fix... awaiting reimbursement. Odd noise on drivers side, but to be expected from a car with 100K+ miles. All in all drove well, and I'd use David's vehicles again. Most likely, and I think this is a good rule of thumb, regardless of provider, nothing older than 1 or 2 model years.
Easy to deal with. Pickup/drop off key box. Could use a cleaning/detail, Had a warning lamp on for rear bulb out and no windshield fluid but didn't bother me. High mileage Audi but rides just fine. Thank you.
I'm reluctant to leave this review but not doing so kind of undermines the whole purpose of reviews so I feel I must. This car was gross. I don't mean kind of dirty. It's not like this was a clean car with some clutter or that maybe wasn't vacuumed; this car was gross. Gross is the right word. I understand these are people's personal cars and I'm certainly not expecting showroom new but this car had months of baked on dirt on the interior and hadn't had so much as a vacuum applied to it likely in weeks, let alone a rag and some cleaning solution.
I can't express in words how frustrating it is to trudge from the terminal in 20 degree weather, to the train, to a shuttle bus out to the cheapest economy lot only to find a car in the condition this car was in. Stains of something spilled in the back, dark splotches on the visor, multiple stains on the headliner, carpet full of other people's mess, seats with residue from previous spills that weren't properly cleaned or weren't cleaned at all, navigation buttons that were stuck and intermittently inoperable because of liquid that had been spilled in them and then froze to a thick molasses.
To David's credit, he did agree to pay for a wash (which we didn't take advantage of because we didn't drive the car much). He blamed the issues on the last renter however the car should have been checked and cleaned between renters. A simple wash would have vastly improved the situation however it still would have been gross after the wash. The car needs a serious detail and if a previous renter is responsible they should be on the hook for that.
This was by far my worst Turo experience and unfortunately probably my wife's last because she couldn't understand how I received the car in this state. Quite frankly, I didn't have a good reason either. It just shouldn't have happened.
I'm sure David is a nice guy and judging from his feedback, my experience appears to be an exception but it's my experience nonetheless.
This is a nice car but it needs an exorcism from Mr Clean.

Thanks to David, I had a great experience with Turo. From start to finish, he was very responsive and communication was easy. He made the transition very comfortable. His car was in great condition. I would definitely rent from david again when I'm back in town. Thanks David!
