This trip became a nightmare situation when the vehicle broke down. The owner went out of his way to ensure Turo didn't send roadside assistance. And then he came to get his defunct vehicle, which cut my rental (paid for up front) short about 16 hours. I'm waiting on Turo's reimbursement for a full day's rental. Meanwhile, the owner had the nerve to send me extra charges for milage. I feel professionally disrespected. Stay away from that Escalade. There's a known issue. It was clear this wasn't the first time it happened. However, he assured me when I first picked up the rental that everything mechanical/electrical was working perfectly. That wasn't true at all.
