Can we tow with your vehicle?
No. Towing is not allowed at all. No exceptions. The hitch on the vehicle is used for the add-on hitch mounted bike rack or cargo carrier. The prices for these items is ten dollars per day on top of your daily rental rate. If you do not select these items, a locked hitch pin will be installed in the hitch that only I will have the key to.This is to protect my vehicle from potential damage that Turo's insurance will NOT cover.
How to use the DVD Player in the back seat.
Insert a DVD into the audio systems CD player. Open the back screen by pressing the release button on the front. Grab the remote in the bottom center console and push the power button on the top while aiming at the screen. Once the DVD has loaded, the screen will come on, and the movie will start playing. Use the remote to control the film. Use the rear seat audio system on the back of the top center console to control the headphones volume if you are using a set of wired headphones. If you are using the included wireless headphones, the volume control is on the side of the headphones near the power switch. To hear the movie's sound through the car's audio system, just press the AUX/CD/USB button on the car's radio until the screen says DVD. To stop the movie, just press the stop button and the power button on the remote and close the screen.
Where is the USB port and the AUX input?
The USB port is located inside the dash storage bin. To reach it, push down on the release switch and the compartment will open. The USB port is on the back wall. The AUX input is located on the car's radio face on the bottom right.
Do you provide a waterproof bag or a cargo net with the hitch mounted cargo carrier?
The cargo carrier does not include a net or waterproof bag. I have both items, but they have an additional cost of 5 dollars per day for the bag and 2 dollars per day for the net. The bag has built-in tie down straps that will secure it in place on the cargo rack.
What do we do in case of a flat tire or other nonlife-threatening emergencies?
The vehicle is equipped with a full-service OnStar service. The plan we have for the vehicle is the directions and connections plan that includes every service OnStar offers. This includes roadside assistance. In case of an issue, please call me first and then push the blue OnStar button and they will help you with roadside assistance. Please do not push the red OnStar button. This button is only used for serious emergencies.
Do you provide extra mileage?
No. The amounts you see is what you get. There will be an additional cost of $.75 per mile for over allowed mileage.
