Looks and feels new! This Nissan Rogue SL All Wheel Drive SUV handles like a luxury sedan but carries many passengers and lots of cargo. Perfect for shopping trips in the burbs. It seats 5 adults comfortably and an additional couple of children could easily sit in the "way back" by opening the rear power liftgate cargo access area. I am located 2 blocks north of Dupont Circle metro station on Connecticut Avenue, NW in the heart of DC near many of the large hotels and within minutes of all the major attractions. A huge benefit you will receive by renting my SUV is it comes with FREE Street Parking for certain areas in Northwest DC (Zone 2) Residential Parking. Legal street parking is a rare commodity in the District!

Post-trip cleaning
Return the car hassle free, without worrying about having to vacuum the interior, including the rear storage. This does not cover upholstery cleaning, spills, stains, pet hair, or smoke removal.
Prepaid refuel
Prepay for your fuel here and return the car with any fuel level. With gas at $3.70 per gallon and rising in DC these days, this is a fair price.

Parking details

My car comes with a "Zone 2 Residential Parking Permit" affixed to the drivers side windshield. This permit allows you to park my car for free where there is a sign that says "2 hour parking ________" and gives times and then says "Zone 2 Permit Holders Excepted." You should be able to find parking where you pick up the car from me anywhere in the 2100 block of Bancroft Place NW or anywhere in the 2100 block of S Street NW. That being said, please leave plenty of time to find a legal spot to park prior to the time you are scheduled to return the car. You will be charged a late fee if the car is not properly parked back in a residential zone 2 parking spot either on Bancroft Place NW or S Street, NW.

The SUV is registered with a DC “zone 2 residential parking” permit affixed to the windshield of my car. This permit allows you to park my car for free wherever there is a sign that says "2 hour parking ________" and gives times and then says "Zone 2 Permit Holders Excepted." This means you are allowed to park in that area for longer than 2 hours. Zone 2 includes but is not limited to the following Northwest DC neighborhoods: Dupont Circle, Kalorama, Logan Circle, Adams Morgan (parking signs must explicitly indicate it's zone). Unless other arrangements are made, Please plan to return the car to a “zone 2 residential parking” spot near where you picked up the car. The two parking options to return the vehicle are: 1) on the 2100 block of Bancroft Place NW (west of Connecticut Ave NW and east of Phelps Place NW), or; 2) on the 2100 block of S Street, NW (off of Florida Ave, NW and east of Phelps Place, NW). Please factor in the time of day, the day of the week, the traffic, etc and allow for plenty of time to find and park in an available legal parking space on the street when you are returning the vehicle. The car will need to be parked legally before you can officially begin the return process and that needs to begin prior to your designated return time so the system does not mark you as being late. This is important in case someone else has reserved the car for shortly after your return because it shows up as available on my calendar. I can also possibly make other arrangements to meet you if agreed to in advance. It would need to be agreed upon through the Turo message app. Any movement of the backseats and/or cargo area during your visit must be returned to their original positions you found them in upon pick up. Should you utilize the cargo area and/or backseat during your trip, please vacuum the area prior to drop off. Any debris or trash left in back seat and/or cargo area will incur a flat $30 reimbursement fee for a professional car wash which includes vacuuming. Thanks again!!

Lane was great and the Nissan Rogue was perfect for moving a desk and getting some serious Costco shopping done. Thanks Lane!

Lane made renting his car an easy delight. We were already staying in his neighborhood so just walked over where he waited to check us out. Drop off was same, he was waiting outside for a quick return. SUV was fairly priced and in almost-new shape. Hope to rent from him again.

The owner cancelled this trip 1 hour before it started. This message was automatically posted by Turo.

Lane has a beautiful car. Loved driving it. It's got a really cool feature when you are in reverse: you can see a birds-eye view of the car and surroundings. Pretty neat. Very fuel efficient too. There were a few reasons why I can't give 5 stars. - I booked the ride and didn't hear from him until I followed up the day of, a few hours before pickup in the morning. - The car has a push-to-start engine, but it needs the key fob to be nearby of course. He mentioned the key I got was not consistently working and I'd need to try a few times to get it to send a signal to the car. Sure enough, there were several moments where we were waiting for a few minutes trying to get the car to start. Eventually figured out a hack to get it to work that I passed along to him. In any case, I'd say these are easy problems to fix and shouldn't prevent anyone from having second thoughts about the ride. Convenient pickup and dropoff
