Clean, dealer-maintained, 7-passenger Land Rover LR3 in great shape. Regularly serviced and maintained with a clean interior. These cars are awesome - which is why our family has 2! They are the perfect balance of on-road sophistication with off-road capabilities. The standard 5 seat configuration offers tons of room, and even when the back 2 seats are opened up, there's still room for some gear. This is the perfect vehicle if you need to take a group somewhere. I purchased it to accommodate our large family as well as to be able to take trips with larger groups of work colleagues. Car is located within 10 minute walk of the Fairfield MTA train station.
Loaded with heated seats, heated windshield, huge glass roof, leather, and more. It also an aux input, so listening to music, podcasts, audiobooks, and more is as simple as plugging in your phone or iPod with the supplied cable.
For monthly rentals, car needs to be washed and detailed before return.
This car is incredible to drive. All I ask is that you keep it clean, smoke- and animal-free, and topped up with 91+ so the next renter has a full tank.
While I can't pick you up at an airport, I MAY be able to meet you - or leave the car for you - at the Fairfield train station, which is on the Metro-North line, about 1:10 from Grand Central or about a 1/2 hour from New Haven.
IMPORTANT: Please read:
I've been renting with Turo for 2+ years now, and I've had many, many positive experiences; however, please understand a few things before you rent via Turo (in general or from me). I'm really easy to get along with, but this is my PERSONAL car that I take great care of and expect the same from my renters.
1. Please plan to pick up and drop off the car at an agreed upon time. I work, have a family, and have plans that I make around those times. If something comes up, please let me know and we'll work it out, but please ALERT ME IN ADVANCE so we can make arrangements. There is a $50/hour late charge that Turo charges if you're late, and if we don't make prior arrangements, I support that policy.
2. Except with the POSSIBILITY of a pickup or drop off at the local train station, I can rarely make other arrangements to meet somewhere (please see #1 above); please understand this when making your rental. Please do not make a reservation and then ask me to meet you somewhere a few hours before you pick up the car. If I could I would but it's not possible. Likewise, if you need me to meet you at the train, I NEED TO KNOW when you request the rental so I can make plans to accommodate that request and so you're not left hanging. Again, I work and have a family so it's tough for me to make last-minute plans. There are also times you may rent when I may be completely unavailable but can make other arrangements and leave the car for you.
3. If you cannot care for the car in the right way and treat it well, please don't rent. I expect it to be returned in the same condition I gave it to you. It needs to be as clean as I left it for you. Leaving it filled with garbage and debris isn't cool and will earn you a bad review and possibly a cleaning fee.
Ok, that's enough. If you have issues with the above I HIGHLY recommend you rent from a big box rental company like Avis or Hertz who don't care if you beat their cars up or not. Again, this is my personal car that I worked hard to buy and take great care of - which is why people like to rent from me. Read the reviews and you'll see!
