2017 Dodge Durango GT Blacktop Edition. Seating for up to 7 Passengers. One disclaimer if you are arriving with luggage. It will seat 7, but room for luggage will be minimal. You can squeeze in 1 large suitcase and 1 small suitcase with all seats available. If you need all 7 seats, one option might be to order an Uber X at the airport to follow you to your accommodations with luggage. If you take up 6 seats, you get room for 2 to 3 large suitcases and 1 or 2 smaller roller size bags. If you use it for 5 passengers you will have plenty of room for 4 large suitcases and some smaller bags.

Very Stylish and Fun to Drive SUV for Colorado. Full time AWD with an economical, yet peppy 290 Horsepower V6 mounted to a very smooth 8-speed transmission. This car is roomy, comfortable and easy to drive.

Bike Rack available that mounts easily on the Tow Hitch. Rack will hold up to 4 bikes. No extra charge for use of the bike rack, but I need to know in advance to have it on the vehicle when I deliver it. Need Ski/Snowboard racks? Let me know, I may be able to arrange that.

Guidelines
Thank you for renting my car through Turo. A couple of quick tips and requests!

Spirited Driving is encouraged, but please do not abuse my car. The Durango is equipped with a 3.6 Liter V6 Engine that puts out 290 Horsepower. It has an 8-speed transmission that does a great job of managing the power and shifting smoothly. There is a Sport Mode function that can be toggled from the center console. Sport mode is great for mountain driving. It shifts the gears at higher RPM's which is great for ascending and descending. The car is also equipped with Paddle shifters on the back side of the steering wheel if you want to shift the car up and down manually. Engage the paddle shifters by tapping either the left or right paddle. You'll see the mode engage on the instrument cluster. It will tell you what gear you are in. To disengage the paddle shift mode, just hold the right paddle in for 2 or 3 seconds and you'll see it resume on the instrument cluster. When in manual mode, you have to shift gears up and down until you turn it off. There is no autopilot that kicks in.

The vehicle is equipped with an economy mode that includes ESS. I think ESS stands for Electronic Start Stop. Essentially when you are at a stop light the engine will shut down with your foot on the brake. As soon as you release the brake, it will start. The radio and AC will continue to run in the car despite it being stopped. This is a lousy feature in my opinion. It puts a lot of undue wear and tear on the car in my opinion. The fuel savings are negligible at best! The good news is, you can turn it off. Unfortunately you will have to do this every time you start the car. You'll remember when come to your first stop and it shuts off. It's a very minor nuisance to be honest. You can turn it off for the duration of your drive by pushing the A button the lower center console under the navigation screen. I will show you this when I deliver the car.

The car runs on a minimum of 87 Octane Gas. 85 Octane will cause the car to run a lot less smooth and may cause engine damage. Please only use 87 or higher Octane. A tank of fuel will get you between 450 and 490 miles depending on your driving habits and driving conditions. The gas cap release is near your left knee. To the left and below the steering wheel.

Washing the car is up to you. It is a black beauty and looks spiffy when washed. Don't worry about washing it or cleaning it out prior to returning. That is my job. I do request that you remove excess trash from the car if possible. I don't charge any cleaning fees on top of the rental charges. I do reserve the right to charge extra for spills on the carpeting. Rule of thumb is, if it can be wiped away, no problem. If I have to steam clean it, I may need to charge you a nominal fee.

Finally....Marijuana is legal in Colorado. But please do not partake inside of the vehicle. The residues will permeate the interior and the cost of deodorizing the car are expensive due to the fact that it needs to be done professionally. It costs about $200 to have this done.
FAQs
Where will you deliver the car?
For passengers arriving at DIA, I will meet you curbside when you have your luggage. We will do a quick inspection of the car, I will check your drivers license, hand you the keys, and away you go. I will have my own way home. Drop off will be the same, I will meet you curbside and pick up the car and away you go. This will be the easiest rental experience you have ever dealt with.
