I will do whatever I can to ensure your trip goes effortlessly. That being said, I wash and clean the jeep between rentals as allowable so just care to keep the vehicle interior reasonably clean (the roads up in the mountains get muddy and I don't want you to worry about that). It is greatly appreciated to fill the vehicle with gas as close as possible to return but I understand the urgency of getting back to the airport so often times patrons will just give me some cash to cover gas which is also a great solution. I leave it to your discretion and whichever it most convenient for you.
Q. REGARDING AIRPORT DELIVERY - FULL TRANSPARENCY
A. I do offer airport delivery but it is priced assuming delivery at the beginning and end of the trip because it seams that is most convenient for patrons who want this service. ALTHOUGH I FREELY OFFER DELIVERY, IT IS CHEAPER FOR YOU TO GRAB AN UBER/LYFT RIDE TO MY HOME DOWNTOWN TO PICK UP THE JEEP. My reasoning being that there are typically drivers waiting to pick people up at the airport rather than me driving all the way out there only to turn around and make the trip back. AGAIN, I am very willing to do this but it will make more economic sense for you to get dropped off at my location.
Q. Are you flexible on pick-up / drop-off times?
A. Absolutely, as long as I am informed ahead of time. The main thing is that we stay in communication about your specific needs. Sometimes I have back to back rentals, so please let me know immediately if you need to extend the rental or can’t return the car on time. If I do have back to back rentals, it may not be possible and this would be beyond my control.
Q. Where will I meet you at the airport?
A. I prefer to meet upstairs in the ‘departure’ area when I’m picking up arrivals. This area is less chaotic than the downstairs, ‘arrival’ area. And there are no patrol officers waving you off the curb. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT AIRLINE YOU WOULD BE ARRIVING WITH SO I CAN BE IN THE PROPER LOCATION.
Q: Are the rental days adjustable?
A: Please just let me know what your needs are and depending on the bookings, I am very willing to work with you. Mainly, we need to let Turo know so that we are both still covered by the insurance Turo offers.
Q: Is the price negotiable?
A: On rare occasions I will reduce the rate depending on how many miles you plan to put on it or if you are booking on short notice. I have set the mileage limits to prevent extreme wear and tear on my cars. I drive my cars when they are not rented out and during the down time I take steps to ensure maintenance is being kept up (oil changes, tire rotation, brake checks, interior/exterior cleaning, etc.). Safety and cleanliness are my top priorities.
Q: Is the total mileage negotiable?
A: I don't usually like to go over the allocated mileage limit without charging additional fees but on some cases I do allow this for a very reasonable fee or not at all. Please inquire with me if you feel you may need more miles than allocated.
