The car is appointed with BMW xLine finishings including black leather seats and wood trim. This compact but spacious vehicle can comfortably accommodate a family of 4 with bags. The car can easily handle the roads in the mountains as well as around the city.
------ CURBSIDE VALET INCLUDED @ DEN, 2+ DAY BOOKINGS ------
We provide FREE curbside valet, through Hassle-Free Car, for all of our trips with this vehicle that are considered bookings of 2 or more days. For bookings of less than 2 days, you have the option to add valet service for delivery and/or return for $30 each, $60 for both, just let us know. Otherwise, you'll be able to pick the vehicle up from and return it to our staging area, which is about 10 minutes out from the airport. Uber and Lyft cost about $10 each way to and from DEN.
------ VALET AVAILABLE 7AM - 10PM ------
You are welcome to book your car to be picked up at any time and returned at any time. However, please keep in mind that the Hassle-Free Car valet is only available from 7am until 10pm 7 days a week. If your trip begins outside these hours, your car will parked at the pick up location during valet hours and any associated parking fees will be your responsibility. If you set your trip ending time outside of valet hours, we will simply ask you to park the vehicle at the return location, we will pick it up when our valet starts back up, and any associated parking fees would be your responsibility.
------ PETS ------
Pets ARE allowed in this vehicle, but they must be kept in a crate while in the car. We require this because of pet hair and excess wear and tear. Any pet hair found in vehicles may incur additional fees.

Amazingly and cool car for our time in Colorado! we didn't have any rough road driving so i don't know how it would fare for that, but it was great for what we needed it for. our "roughest drive" was probably driving all the way up mount evans and this car was definitely a great, comforting choice for those tiny cliffside roads! It was so great to pick up the car right at our terminal and even though we had to drop off the car in short term parking instead of doing a terminal drop off that was still really easy and straightforward. Would easily rent this car again; definitely hassle-free.
Great car. Perhaps the best one I've used on Turo. Powerful, lots of trunk space. Handles like a German car! I used the 'Hassle Free' service for delivery to/from curbside. This was awesome. I got from Ben exactly what I asked for - a hassle-free car rental experience - the valet was very convenient. The BMW X1 served us well during our week long stay in Colorado. I highly recommend the Turo experience!
I have booked over 35 trips with TURO, unfortunately this trip has been the most unorganized, unpunctual and confusing trip. I originally booked this car for 1 day. Because they included free airport pickup. After they confirmed my trip they sent me a message stating that it will be $60 for airport pick up and drop off because its only a one day rental. I then extended my trip another day to get free airport and pickup! The owner uses Hassle free valet service. They send you terms and conditions in your message feed. They ask you to respond "accept terms and conditions". I accepted their terms and uploaded my drivers license as requested. The morning of the trip they sent me a message that I did not accept their terms, which I did!, and if I don't respond they will cancel my trip! When I landed I turned my phone on. I received a txt asking me to send my license to them once again. I sent that to them again. After I resent my license they responded to me that they will no longer be available to pick me up from the airport. This was 30 minutes before the scheduled trip!! I was very aggravated at that point. I made them aware that I extended my trip only for the airport pickup. They eventually informed me that they will be able to accept my request for airport pickup. My trip was set for 3:30 pm I wasn't picked up until almost 4pm. I know this is a very long post, but all potential renters should be aware of the hiccups and disorganization that can happen with this owner, thanks
Fantastic first experience with Turo. You're BMW X1 was cute, clean, and fun in the mountains. It had just enough room for 4 people and luggage, plus I loved the panoramic sun roof. The car did end up needing oil added about halfway through the trip. But I've had this same problem crop up on my car at home despite regular maintenance and oil changes, so I understood.
I loved the experience and overall convenience of Turo. There were ample emails and texts however the instructions were a little hazy. Even in this request for a review it was difficult to figure out how to respond. Oh, I had to click on the generic stars! For a old computer neophyte like myself I would apperciate a designated button for compliance. Such as "to confirm, press here" Or simply "confirm". Apparently to confirm the car pick up I had to send a message. Weird. Thanks for the service and I plan to use it again. - David
1. The valet service that Ben uses only contacted me while the driver was in the car on their way to drop off the car, and she was late.
2. The "Service engine soon" light was on as soon as we got in the car.
3. The X1 had a 3 foot crack in the windshield when the vehicle was dropped off.
4. the windshield wiper fluid only worked intermittently. I actually went and bought fluid within two hours of picking up the car, but I noticed the reservoir was completely full. (This took 11 hours to get a response).
5. The tire pressure monitoring system notified me that the passenger rear tire was low, I stopped at a gas station within 2 miles of it going off. I found that tire to be the only one missing the valve stem cover, so I assume I was not the first one to try and remedy this. Additionally, the last person to put air in the tires did not follow the recommended pressure in the manual, and the pressure was at 50lbs in that tire. I found this out after having to go inside to buy a gauge was one was not built into the station I went to.
6. The vehicle did not have winter tires, but it was not advertised as having them. I made a wrong assumption, I just want others to know that it has all season tires installed currently.
7. Per the car, the battery in the key FOB is nearly dead.
8. I reached out on the morning of the drop off to verify the time with the valet service (Hasslefree) and confirmed a 1:30pm drop off at the airport. At 1:04pm I received a text stating "
Hi Robert, we are going to need to ask you to park the car in Short Term Parking. Follow the signs for your airline and ARRIVALS. Stay to the left and you'll see the signs for Short Term Parking right next to the Passenger Pick Up Lanes. Once parked, please lock the keys in the car and let us know where it's as. Thank! Details and Maps are available at hasslefreecar.com/return-den-early." Note that this was NOT and early return of the vehicle. This was at the requirement of hassfreecar, not we the renters.
9. Ben then tried to charge ME for the $4 parking fee, which would imply that Hasslefreecar either lied and said it was my fault, or there is inadequate record keeping at their service.
I would have just dismissed a couple of these things, but this was only over the course of 4 days and 660 miles.
Everything was exceptional about the car. The valet made this trip over the top. They were on top of everything including changing my pick-up time. Great car and service. I would recommend this service and car to anybody. Just exceptional!
Car was there when I needed it. Clean. Perfect ride for the labor day weekend. Returned early to the airport because if schedule change. Just parked it in the lot let them know where it was and that was it.
My first experience using turo and it was amazing!! The bmw was at the airport shortly after we landed, and someone was waiting to pick it up when we returnered, talk about hassle free. And the car was beautiful and extremely clean! I will definitely be using turo again next time I go on vacation. And thanks Ben! I'll be sure to go through again next time I'm in Denver.
Car was awesome, really made our Colorado trip special. Ben made sure pick up and drop off were smooth. This was my first Turo trip and couldn't be happier. Pricing was beyond fair. I would give 6 stars if possible.
AMAZING car! The car was outstanding and an absolute steal for the price. Ben was awesome with communication and being very clear throughout the entire process. Amazing rental and customer service. Would surely rent from Ben again on my next trip to Denver!
