Jeep was in ok condition. Couldn't really accelerate over 70 MPH. There was some shredded cheese we found in the trunk. Airbag sign kept beeping and the overhead light would randomly turn on. These were the major flaws, however Brandon was very quick to respond with questions I had.
This car is fine - you get what you pay for. The air conditioning and heat smell,, pieces have fallen off or are missing and it rattles concerningly when it goes over bumps. If you're looking to go to the mountains, I'd look elsewhere, but if you're tooling around the city, it should do just fine.
Brandon had great communication, we knew exactly where to find the jeep and what needed to be done. He left it at the airport for us, which was super convenient.
We loved the car, perfect for a four person trip to the ski fields. The snow tires were great on the snowy roads, we didn't have any trouble. The heated front seats were a bonus.
The jeep was spacious and comfortable.
We couldn't find any USB charging ports, but there are two cigarette lighter chargers up front and we had bought adaptors for USB with us, so we were all set.
Pick up and drop off was easy. Brandon was great and available for anything we needed. Jeep was very clean and well taken care of. The only issue is the stereo and it is pretty horrible, would've been much better off leaving in the stock stereo. Im assuming it is wired completely wrong- randomly scans stations while you were trying to listen (seeing as this was the only way you could listen to music it was very aggravating), you couldn't just plug in your phone and play music using a USB cable or connect using Bluetooth either due to the wiring issues. I think the wiring also caused the rear back up camera not to work. A few times we just played music through our phones to avoid the annoyance. All in all it did what we needed it to do while there and if Brandon had other cars available on his next trip we would be happy to rent from him again.
