Cleaning: We take pride in providing clean cars and we require that you return the car in the same condition. This means that the car must be washed on the outside and cleaned on the inside. Failure to do so could incur up to a $250 fee for cleaning.
Fuel: Please refuel the car to the same level as when it was delivered. If the car is returned without being refueled, we will refuel the car upon return and will require reimbursement via the rental platform.
Toll roads/tickets: You will be billed for tolls/tickets at the conclusion of the rental.
Reimbursements: For any of the above mentioned reimbursements, a $25 administration and processing fee will be added to the reimbursement cost.
No Smoking: Colorado Hyres prohibits smoking in rented vehicles. If our car is returned with the smell of tobacco or marijuana, you will be charged a minimum of $250 cleaning fee.
Driver: We require a front and back picture of the driver’s license. Only the renter who’s license we have on file is permitted to drive the vehicle. The rental platform will not cover any other drivers.
Pet Policy: No pets in rented vehicles. If the car is returned with any damage by a pet, a fee will be billed to repair/clean.
Schedule/Extension: 24-hour notice is required to schedule or extend your trip. Any changes to an existing reservation will incur a $50 convenience fee. Changes may include pick-up times/days, delivery options, or drop-off arrangements.
Timeliness: We make every attempt to be timely for our customers as we understand there are already enough frustrations related to traveling. We share those same expectations with our clients; hence, we ask that they adhere to our timeliness policy. Delays of any sort exceeding 15 minutes will be charged for the full hour. Hourly delays are $50/hour, not to exceed $250. Public transportation delays, weather delays, and other such uncontrollable factors are considered waiverable.
Delivery and pick-up: Delivery and pick-up fees will be arranged separately after the reservation is accepted/completed. Unless waived, delivery incurs a $50 fee inside of 50 miles and an additional $1 for each additional mile outside of 50 miles. Even if the above fee is waived, an additional fee of $50 will be charged for deliveries outside of normal hours (listed below). We ask that delivery and pick-up be agreed upon as early as possible, but no later than 24 hours prior to pick-up. We will make every effort to communicate with our clients to arrange this, as we expect the same in return. Failure to communicate adequately may result in a cancellation at the renter’s expense.
Changes: Any changes to vehicle delivery or return inside of 72 hours will be subject to a $50 convenience fee. For example, if your reservation goes until 6am, we will be prepared to receive the vehicle at that time. If need to drop off earlier or later than the reservation end time, and you let us know inside of 72 hours, you will be charged a $50 convenience fee requiring us to shift our schedules to accommodate. Terms for delivery and pick-up must be established prior to initial pick-up and are assumed to be per the reservation timeline unless otherwise specified.
