  • How do after-hours pickups and drop-offs work?
    We provide convenient options for easy after-hours pickup and drop-off. After booking we will contact you with more details.
  • Can I let someone else drive the car?
    Only the person who rents the car is insured to drive the vehicle. If you expect that someone else might drive the vehicle, simply upload their drivers license to the TURO app. It’s very easy to do. Unfortunately, failure to do this will cause insurance to be void, and you will be personally liable for the full cost of any damage.
  • Need to pick up the car early?
    Simply log into the app and change your pick-up time. Insurance coverage is only valid during the booked time listed on the app. We kindly ask that if you need to pick up the vehicle early that you go into the TURO app and adjust your rental time accordingly. It’s very easy to do. (TURO does not want us to release a vehicle to a renter unless the rental period has started.) Likewise, if you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage.
  • Returning a car late?
    If you will be late returning a vehicle, you must call and notify TURO at 1-866-735-2901 so that you will be protected with insurance coverage. Please note that sometimes a vehicle has back-to-back rentals and can be going out only an hour after it’s returned. Any late return will lead to a late return fee according to Turo regulations.
  • Can I take the car into Mexico?
    Absolutely not. TURO's insurance policy does not cover vehicles outside the USA. This is strictly prohibited.
  • What if there is damage to the vehicle or I get into an accident?
    Please notify us of any damage or accidents that happen during your rental. We appreciate your honesty and will work with you to solve the problem.

This was my first time doing this, and honestly, it was a mazing. The car was perfect, because it was my car back home, I was instantly at ease driving g not having to fumble through the radio/lights/wipers,etc. And the car was pristine. White X3 SJC. I uber'd to the spot, only to realize it was literally across the street from SJC

At San Diego Airport a quick cab ride to the parking lot across the street from the Sheraton hotel was necessary for us because of our luggage. However, if you don’t have much, its a 20 minute walk. After dropping off vehicle at lot, LUSO rep was there and he offered to drop us off at airport. Very excellent customer service. Kudos to LUSO. Would definitely rent a vehicle in the future.

The car is awesome, super well maintained and very nice car to drive. However, the « delivery » could have been more convenient. From United terminal, it took me 20min to get there because it was confusing and far.
