The 6 seat configuration has the most exotic and pampered feel due to the captains chairs in the middle row and a placement for a bag or purse in the middle. The lack of a middle seat in the 2nd row also doesnt obstruct your sight rear view mirror. Trust me, both my model x's are 6 seaters as this is the best configuration.

Insane torque and speed. Very fast off the line with instant torque with 236 mile range. The P version is a fraction of a second faster (without ludicrous mode) but consumes power like a v8 vs an i4 which means range depletes very fast and time spent on superchargers are longer.
6 seats- It is widely known that the 6 seat variant is the best option since it gives the vehicle a lot more room. The captains Chairs in the second row allow space for occupants to move about the cabin and for items to be on the floor.
The 7 seater has a very high headrest so the occupants in the back can feel claustrophobic as well as the driver's view of the rear impeded while the 5 seater has no 3rd row seats abd the seat backs of the middle row arent the gorgeous sculpted seats of the 6 seaters which take a significant effect on the X.
-no pets, no smoking and no track time.
-I will have to charge a reasonable delivery fee for one day rentals and for any airport other than LAX. This is to cover uber costs.

Note: $50 extra for one day rentals. Per turo policy, the car is expected to be returned in the same condition as when rented out. A cleaning fee of $30 may be charged otherwise (paid to Turo to clean the car on return). Please return the car with full charge as provided on hand off, else charging fee may apply. We are conveniently located behind the Custom Hotel at 8639 Lincoln Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90045. We are open from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm every day. Please give us a call at (310) 227-6998 if you need to reach the Turo LAX team.
Once you have arrived, please proceed to the parking lot located behind the Custom Hotel
If you are picking up a vehicle, simply walk to the top level of the parking lot where a Turo employee will assist you
If you are dropping off a vehicle, drive up the parking lot ramp and a Turo employee will be available to open the gate for you

The LA lot is open from 6:00 am to 10:00p m every day.* Complimentary shuttle service is provided by the Custom Hotel. When prompted, text the terminal number where you are located, and the number of people in your party. (For example: Terminal 3, 2 people)
Please wait under the red “Hotel and Courtesy Shuttles” sign on the arrivals level. Click on the link provided by the automated system to track the shuttle. Look for the white van marked “Custom Hotel”.
Once you have arrived at the Custom Hotel, proceed towards the back of the property to the parking spaces labeled "Valet Only"; a Turo team member will be there to assist you.

Howard was very helpful and the vehicle provided me a great 2 days of travel. I recommend Howard and his Tesla Model X to anyone who wants a smooth ride and a valuable experience.
I rented Howard's model X for two days. I really enjoyed driving the car, but in the end it kind of ended up being a bad experience. Here's why:
When I picked up the car I immediately had to drive it to a supercharger because the last renter had returned it with only 40 miles left. Although Howard did let me know in advance about this issue, it was still an inconvenience.
Then when I got to the charger and started to check out the car a little, I started to notice that the car had not been cleaned for some time. There was quite a bit of trash in the car and just over all it was dirty inside. Lots of dust on the dash and dirty hand prints on the windows. Not really what I expected from a luxury car rental...
So at this point I let Howard know what was up, because he's not the one doing the hand off with this car, he has it parked at the turo lot near LAX. So he doesn't personally inspect the car after every rental, but he's still responsible for it.
Howard was very nice about the situation and offered to reimburse me to have it cleaned. Although this was a nice gesture, I only had two days of vacation and I wasn't really trying to spend that time getting a rental car cleaned. So I declined that offer. Then Howard was still very eager to make the situation right, but he wasn't really willing to offer anything. Instead he wanted me to offer him a suggestion on what would make up for this inconvenience. So I suggested that he refunded one of the days and then charge me his $50 one day rental fee. Then I got no response.
Then after about a day he texted me right after I returned the car and He said no to that and offered me a $30 refund on a $370 rental.
Then before I could really respond to that, he said he needed to get some work done and that he would call me the next day. The the next night he texted me again and offered $50. So I was kind of over the whole thing at this point and I just agreed. He said he would send the money via PayPal that night (a Tuesday) but I never got it. Then the following Friday I sent a text asking if he had sent the money and he said his wife was supposed to send it and that he would ask her if she sent it. It's now Wednesday and I haven't gotten any refund and I drove around a garbage can for two days that cost me $370.
I contacted turo about this issue and never heard anything back from them either.
Overall I enjoyed driving this car, but I could have payed $30/day at enterprise and if that car was dirty they would have probably given me a refund.
Howard was awesome. Great communicator, always willing to help, and totally nice guy. I rented the Tesla because I am considering buying one. He spent almost an hour walking me through the features and sharing his experience. He never rushed me and was flexible when I extended my trip.
If you're thinking of renting any of his vehicles, do yourself a favor and just do it. You won't regret it.
Amazing experience renting this Tesla X from Howard. He offered an option where we pick and drop the car from the hourly parking garage and it made all the difference with 6 people including 2 kids and tons of luggage to carry around. I still don't believe all of it fit into the car (including a full size stroller!). Howard is very easy to deal with and he even called to walk me through the vehicle and it's basic operations as I never drove a Tesla before. I highly recommend Howard for your future trips.
Fantastic car, and a great transaction. I wanted to see how the Model X performed on a Las Vegas trip. Supercharging was a breeze, and the auto-pilot took a lot of the stress out of driving. Car worked flawlessly. Highly recommended!
