Now, a few things about my car. I keep the inside very clean. I try my best to keep the outside clean, but this is a challenge on the streets of SF.
It has a sunroof. It has a CD player and a tape deck with an iPod adapter. I also have an iPod/Phone car charger.
It has a roof rack. Not for a bike or skis, but can be useful for hauling things or attaching sport racks.
MY CAR DOES NOT HAVE 4X4 OR ALL WHEEL DRIVE.

This was a great experience! Nick was super easy to communicate with. We drove the car to big sur for a backpacking trip. It's got some miles on it and some wear but nick has kept it in good condition and it's easy to drive. It was really nice that he included an iPhone jack for charging my iPhone and a tape player to play music from my phone. That was pretty key. When we ended up coming back earlier than expected, he was totally flexible and told us to just leave the car for him to park. Would definitely rent nicks car again
Nick and his pathfinder are both great. Nick is very responsive over text message and is very flexible with scheduling pickup/dropoff. The car drive's great and is comfortable over distances. The perfect choice for taking a pair of skis up to tahoe, even without 4wd :)
Borrowing Nick's Pathfinder was a great experience all around! I needed to make a day trip up to the North Bay, so I reserved it for a full 24 hours. Only $39 and the cost of replacing the gas, total bargain!
Nick and I had been communicating via text messages prior to my reservation, so he met me outside his place with the Pathfinder, right on time. He communicated a few things about the car (spare tire, etc) and we talked also about how to return it. He had gone to the gas station prior to passing the car along to me to make sure I had at least half a tank to start with.
The car handles well and is very spacious with a large hatch trunk too. It was very fun to drive! Nick's car also has a CD player and a tape deck, and he has a tape adapter in there too so you can plug in your iphone/ipod and play it through the stereo. Nice touch! One note: the breaks squeak a tiny bit if it's been parked for a few hours or overnight, but he talks to you about that too...and it's nothing to worry about!
I live about 10 blocks from Nick and upon returning the car he offered me a ride home! It was a nice day so I opted to just walk, and halfway home I realized my house keys were still attached to his car key, which was totally my mistake. I called him and he drove them right over :) Bonus!
Nick's Pathfinder is now on my prime Turo car radar. Great car with a considerate and friendly owner! I look forward to using his car again.
