The car smelled like weed. And the engine light turned on as soon as I went on the freeway. Now he is claiming nothing is wrong with the car. I returned it early because I didn't feel comfortable driving a car with the engine light on. I asked for a refund and he is just trying to tell me how I returned the car. It shouldn't matter if your car is not reliable in the first place. He is not considerate at all. I want a refund. And will probably never use this service again. Way too over priced for a car with manual lock and mirrors. Stick to enterprise.
We were given a defective car without a functioning honk which forced us to return the car right away. The car owner is beyond unreasonable and irresponsible for initially refusing to take the car back. It took us more than half a day to get Turo customer service to get car owner to accept cancelling the reservation and return the car early and car owner made us to drive all the way from Gardena to North Ridge to return the car an Turo still made us pay for one day car rentalf fee even we were able to get a mechanic to provide document proof that the car was defective on Christmas Eve around 4:30pm. I don't think we should be charged for anything given it is a defective car. The whole experience is beyond ridiculous and we will never want to use Turo again because of this horrible rental car experience

Everything went well with my first Turo rental. RJ and his family were accommodating and communicated very well. It was much better than renting from a corporate car rental company. Thanks for making it a great first experience!
