I rented the Mercedes from Mu on Jan 5, 2017 and he was very polite and on time. On the second day of having the car, I was driving down the highway and noticed the tire pressure dropping on the right rear tire so I pulled the car over at the nearest gas station. As soon as I got down by the tire I could hear the air leaking out. I didn't notice any nails or glass in the tire so I felt with my hand and it was coming from the inner wall of the tire. I bought a can of fix a flat and put more air in the tire and made it to the nearest tire shop, keep in mind I was on the way to the airport to catch my flight when all of this happened. They took the tire off of the car and there was a big split in the inside wall where the tire had cracked due to non tire rotation. They kindly put on the spare and put the old tire in the back of the vehicle, they didn't want to charge me but I tipped them kindly. Filled the car full of gas and made it to the airport. Now Mu declared the car damaged as if I were in an accident and need to pay for some sort of damages? I don't not appreciate this as this was an inconvenience, I really did him a favor because I got the spare put on and now all you have to do is go to a tire shop and get a new tire. I do understand incidents like this happen and using a service like Turo makes it a touchy situation. More needs to be done about this before going through a damage form and handing over your policy number with no investigation or simple understanding of the incident. I recently starting using Turo and thought really highly of the service, but now I question if going back to my regular rental company is the way to go? Zach T.

I rented Mu's Mercedes SUV for a weekend trip for my family. We met at the airport and the process was pretty easy. The few issues i had was with the car itself, the steering wheel was misaligned so driving it was a bit difficult. The tires in the rear were pretty worn out, I drove in some rain and the tires were having trouble getting traction. For anyone who rents this vehicle in the future with plans taking on going to the snow or driving in the rain, i advise checking the tires and the steering wheel before taking delivery of the vehicle. Otherwise, the car was clean and Mu was responsive with messages.
GLK was great, and I used vehicle delivery service. Mu was 15 minutes late on drop off, then texted me before return time if I'd be willing to pick him up at BART. Luckily I had a little extra time to afford picking him up, but renter beware on delivery service surprises
