Super easy experience, car was in great shape.
However - there was dog hair all over the seats, a better cleaning job should be done. Also, we were pulled over (minor infraction involving a stop sign) and after reviewing all of the emails I received from RR, I couldn't find anything with the license plate number on it so we had no way to prove to the office that this cars was legally "ours" to use since he was not familiar with this rental service. Had he not been so understanding, we could have been in real trouble.
Every thing went well for our car rental in SFO, price and availability of Turo members, except the lack of a GPS that we asked before the renting. For a non US Citizen, it was sometimes difficult with a paper map !
Service was totally on point. Turo attendant was there early already doing the inspection when I got there. The guy was even wearing a Turo shirt, which made me feel pretty good. Super legit operation. After going back and forth a few times on vehicle choices, I ended up with a Ford Escape instead of an Acura MDX which was fine. The only thing that made this not 5-stars across the board was that the Ford had either a bearing issue in one of the wheels or the wheel wasn't balanced, so it was a fairly noisy trip, but after a while we got used to it and tuned it out. The owner should get that checked out though.
