This car was fantastic to drive but there were two big issues we encountered. 1. When picking up the car we had a 2yro and an infant with us at 9pm, It was dark and late and I failed to properly inspect the car, and when we got in the car was very dirty including ashes all over the driver's footwell and smelled like it was just smoked in (like intense). We found a receipt from Ralph's (the grocery store next to the Turo lot) for cigarettes in the glove box from the prior day. I felt bad someone would trash the car but the next day I had a little freak out and called Turo because I saw that the inspection stated smoke free. The other issue is there are no charging cables or adapters so we couldn't use power from our friend's house or standard EV chargers. We still had an awesome time with this car and I cleaned the heck out of it before returning it including armor all. I think this was a fluke but I do feel we shouldn't have had a car in that condition for a trip we prepaid >$1500 for 8 or so days. I also wish the car wasn't locked in "chill mode" but I can't fault Alex for that, it's still responsive as heck and chill mode actually feels safer because I'm used to a prius which is super slow not intstant like a tesla. Overall I think anyone renting this car would enjoy it a lot and I think we just got a really unlucky prior renter. Alex, I think you should add the charger cables and adapter to the frunk and charge the previous renters for smoking, i left the receipt and took a photo if you need it.
