Meet Kali—short for Kalamata. Her name is two-fold—inspired by her shimmering dark olive color-shifting exterior (embodying black at nightfall or from certain perspectives) and after the sexual goddess of time who is also symbolic of motherly love. In other (less esoteric) words, road-trips in Kali will seem like seconds; she'll take you where you need to go (hopefully on some sort of hike or waterfall situation) and make sure you feel warm (hello, seat-warmers) and secure (CR-V's have a 9.7 5-star safety rating). There’s plenty of room for luggage (can easily fit 3-6 pieces of luggage depending on size), plus all-wheel drive makes sure you can handle any gravel, mountain, and weather conditions. What else? There's a moonroof for eye and star-gazing, CarPlay and Bluetooth, and pretty amazing adaptive cruise control Sensing technology that breaks for you, assists in case you veer off your lane, and turns long distances into visual journeys. Kali is also pet-friendly, but please, if you bring your fur babies, make sure you leave her insides as clean as you found them. Happy driving!
