First rental via Turo, and the experience couldn’t have been better! Enes was very kind, flexible on a last minute change. He provided an excellent, clean and new car for a very good price. The car was conveniently located next to John Wayne Airport for a quick pick up and drop off. Will definitely rent again!
Enes was not present when I picked up the car and I did not realize how filthy it was until I had driven it for about 5 min or so. The outside was covered in dirt and water spots, there were two big dirt circles in the middle of the windshield, there was an unknown grossness in the cup holder, and the entire car smelled like wet dog. I contacted customer service for advice on how to handle the situation and was told to request to cancel the trip early and request a full refund since I had the car for less than 30 min. The customer service representative put me on hold while he reached out to Enes and explained the situation to him as well. I attempted to contact Enes two times but he did not respond to either request to end the trip early and they both timed out. I then received a text from Enes saying the car had been returned to him late the night before and he had been assured it was in "tip top" shape but later in the day when he finally bothered to go see the car, he tried to excuse its unclean state by telling me it had "sat in the parking lot for a few days and had gotten a little dusty." He then tried to say it "wasn't in too bad of shape for a rental car" but I have never rented a car from a rental agency or through Turo that was essentially unbearable to drive. It took Enes almost the entire day to accept my (multiple) requests to cancel the trip early and since I was unable to rent an alternative car since I already had a scheduled trip, I was left without transportation the whole day. It has now been well over a week and I am STILL waiting for Enes to authorize a refund. The entire experience was a complete waste of my money and my time, the responses Enes gave to the concerns I raised about the vehicle were condescending despite the fact I sent him photos of every issue, and the two excuses he gave as to why the car was a filthy mess contradicted each other.
Thank you Enes! Clean, good on gas vehicle. Very easy to get a hold of Enes if any questions, car drives smoothly and pick up and drop off was easy. Enes was available to answer all my questions. I would rent from Enes next time I am in town. Many thanks Enes.
The car was in great condition and with the single back-seat folded, I was able to fit 8 bags in the trunk :) The car ran very smoothly, was very quiet and comfortable. And Enes was responsive and accommodating throughout the whole trip, which made the whole experience a whole lot better.
