Pickup at car location is free. Car can also be delivered to your hotel, a private home, an Airbnb or to a BART station nearby. Airport drop-off / pickup also available. All car deliveries are at an additional, applicable charge.
Contact the owner if you will need an extension at least 2 hours before returning. Returning late without notification will result in Turo-imposed late fees, which begin at $50/hour. So, contact the owner to avoid this charge.
Also, no pets in car and no smoking in the car at any time.

Yes, there is a car charger adapter in the center counsel; plug it into the cigarette lighter outlet. It has the capacity to charge two devices at once.
How do I put on the parking brake?
Depress the parking brake foot lever on the left side, depress again to unlock the parking brake.
Do I need to tell you if I am not going to make the agreed upon time for pickup and delivery?
Yes, these are TURO guidelines and having the car show up and you not show up is a big No-No. TURO may impose mandatory fines. Communicate a change directly with the owner at least one hour before pickup or arrival, and we can make an adjustment on the reservation so that any potential $ impact on the renter is minimized or eliminated.
What is the best way to save money on gas with the Honda CR-V?
Here are 3 things to do.
* Be sure that the ECO-Assist button is on.
* Set the AC is on the regular AC setting, NOT on the MAX setting.
* Use the cruise control on the highway which should achieve higher miles/gallon rating.
How does using the automatic Fastrak work?
The Fastrak transponder is in the car and will automatically charge the proper toll when you use any Fastrak lane or any Bridge with a toll in the Bay Area. These tolls should be reported at the end of the journey, and please bring correct cash, PayPal, or Venmo to repay the owner for the tolls used. If unable or no cash is available, these tolls can be resolved through the Turo resolution center with a credit card at the cost of the tolls PLUS an administrative fee imposed by Turo. Certain roads have tolls associated with the HOV lanes and those are usually posted within 3 days of use.

My experience with Martin was fantastic. I took the BART over to Concord and was promptly greeted by him and a very clean/new CRV. We went through a brief checklist, he handed me some tasty snacks, and I was on my way. The car drove great! I highly recommend renting from Martin.
Martin was amazing in many ways: the car was sparkling clean, with full tank, and in great condition. Martin took the time to tell me about the car, and produced printed copies of all turo paperwork (car checklist, insurance, and a mini-guide to toll fees). I had trouble returning the car on time because of traffic conditions; not only did Martin follow up with turo on my behalf as I drove back, but he also gave me a ride to catch the last midnight train afterwards. I appreciate his kindness and flexibility.
Vehicle: Martin's CR-V is in pristine condition. Leather seats are very supportive, the tires have good tread life, the brakes are solid, transmission and engine were smooth and flawless. This drives like a new car. The exterior and interior were spotless. The A/C blew cold air. Zero complaints. My family loved it, the kids asked if we could buy it!
