was extremely disappointed with my experience with Christophe and the Volvo he rented me. The car battery died twice during a one week span, and were not caused by leaving the lights on, etc. The first time (12/28) the battery died I called the owner to let him know, to which he did not seem surprised that the battery had died and just told me to call Turo Roadside Assistance. I ended up jumping the car with another person's car and their jumper cables.
The second time the car battery died was on 1/1/17. This time, it would not start when using jumper cables and another person's car. This caused us to miss our check out time and incur penalties at the house we had rented. We waited for close to two hours for roadside assistance, and they were finally able to jump the car with a battery pack. When I informed the owner, he did not apologize or offer anything to make up for the fact that he had rented us an UNSAFE vehicle for our trip to the mountains.
Upon receiving the car on 12/23/16 many of the dashboard lights came on, telling me that the car was due for regular service, that there was bulb failures, and to inspect the brake lights. The car was also quite dirty. The owner did not address any of these issues. We all felt unsafe driving Christophe's car as it had not been properly maintained and the fact that he made no apologies or effort to make it up shows a lack caring at all. Would not recommend!
Had a few problems with this rental, car was quite dirty - couple inconveniences with drop-off but Cristoph was super apologetic and very understanding, refunded me fairly and was very patient haha, will rent from again in the near future and would recommend his genuine customer service
