I had booked the Jeep on the morning of the day I'd actually be picking it up. I scheduled pick up for 6pm. Christophe never responded to any messages prior to pick up, which I can understand because I did book it the same day as pick up. Didn't think it was a big deal. Per his instructions, I called 10 mins prior to arrival and he thought I was dropping the jeep off. I told him I booked it for one day and he said he'd call me back. After going back and forth for 40 mins, his friend called me saying he would drop off the car to me and that there was a mix up with the last renter drop off. He takes me to the Jeep and I noticed a brake light out. He offered the car that he drove in which was an older Volvo SUV. I figured it'd be a better option than getting pulled over in a rental. The Volvo was filthy, dusty and smelled like a gym locker room. I only needed it for a day so I wasn't tripping too much. When I was supposed to return the car the next day at 8pm, Christophe never answered my calls or texts the entire day! I called his friend that dropped off the car and got no answer. Friend calls back and says Christophe is sick and that I should drop off the car where we first found it. I was already parked and ready to return the key. He told me that I should either drop the key off to him, wait an hour for him to get to me, or leave the key in a secret spot. At this point it was almost 8:45pm and I was ready to go home. I told the friend I'd leave the key in a secret place and text the location of the car. I never heard from him or Christophe after that. I'm glad I had a rental on short notice but this whole experience was terrible.
