This Jeep Grand Cherokee is THE ideal ride in California whether it is for moving things around (collapsible rear seats to accomodate large items such as furniture or a bike), long drives (nice, powerful and easy-to-drive vehicle, very spacious interior, cruise control...) or camping/ski trips (large trunk, ABS brakes, 4WD hi/lo for snow/off-road driving...).
There is a full size spare tire in the back of the car and I'm renting it with two iPhone USB cables (iPhone 4 and 5) and a TomTom GPS (GO LIVE 1535 M) which includes real-time traffic (can save you a LOT of time) and builtIn Bluetooth if you want to connect your phone or other devices. I also leave a wireless FM transmitter inside the car (allows you to broadcast your smartphone/tablet's music/sound on the car radio).
I've put this car to the test many times and I've never been disappointed!
*due to really high demand for weekend trips camping/hiking/skiing there is an extra $10/day charge if you rent it only on Sat/Sun. Since I can't adjust my price through the website, this can be paid in person during pick-up or drop-off.

Yohan was great and easy to work with. The Jeep was just as described and ran great for my 10 day rental. I'd definitely rent from Yohan again!
This was my first rental via Turo. It worked out great. Yohan was professional and was easy to work with (very quick to reply to my questions via messages). The Jeep was exactly as advertised, clean and well-maintained.
Yo responded quickly to my messages (within 1 hour), and worked with me to accommodate both my pick-up and drop-off times.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee was very clean both in and out -- equal to or better than what you'd expect from a clean corporate rental. The SUV seats 5, and the rear seats easily fold down to carry cargo - it's a split fold-down so you can still seat 1 or 2 people in the rear if needed.
Yo's Jeep is equipped to tow up to 5,000 lbs, and I received his advance approval to do so. The Jeep has a 2" receiver and a 4-pin flat trailer wiring socket. I provided my own hitch ball + mount (I used one with a 2" drop which worked fine) as the Jeep does not come with one.
The Jeep towed an auto trailer loaded with a car (~4,200 lbs) without struggling to reach freeway speeds or overheating. I took it easy, and made sure to activate the TOW/HAUL mode when accelerating/climbing to prevent any issues. On level ground at constant speed, the Jeep was fine cruising in overdrive while towing.
Unloaded, I was getting around 17 mpg hwy. Hauling the trailer + car (4,200 lbs), about 12.5 mpg -- your mileage may vary.
