I'm a Turo guest (~15 rentals with 5.0* rating) and an owner (117 rentals with 5.0* rating) on Turo. This was my worst experience with a host I've ever had. Here were the problems in severity order: 1. I had a number of issues during my trip and Patrick communicated very calmly and nicely. I appreciated his calm demeanor, but he did not to resolve the issues serious safety issues, and egged me on throughout the trip that they were going to get fixed, which had me keep the car until the end of the trip. He did a great job convincing me to keep a car that was not the car that I booked on Turo. I asked for a partial refund for my $450 trip because I had to use a second behicle as a result of the safety issues of this car, but he refused and instead offered me about $20 worth of gas. More below: 2. The minivan was listed as having 7 seats. This is true, but one of the seatbelt buckles would not work. I discovered this when I tried to load my family members into the car. I informed Patrick right away and he said he would look into getting it fixed before a longer road trip we were planning to take. 3. Upon picking up the car, Patrick informed me the side view mirror had been damaged and he apologized for the issue. I told him I was traveling 200 miles away to southern Georgia and I would not be returning to Atlanta until the end of the trip. He told me he would arrange to have it fixed in two days, which I accepted. 4. There broken window glass in the cup holders and other parts of the car. This is one of few examples of owners cutting corners in a race for profits, leaving guests and their family members inconvenienced. First world problems, but not ones you're expect from car share or renting a car. I will tell as many friends and family as possible not to use Turo for the next year as a result of this experience.

Patrick is awesome sauce, very professional, polite, mild mannered, and punctual. I am humbled and honored to meet such a fine young Man. I on my end presented some challenges, but it was absolutely mind blowing how he handled it all like a true champion. He made the whole experience very easy.
