We are first time Turo user, had a wonderful experience with Kyle. The car is spacious, runs very smooth. communication with Kyle is simple and quick. Pickup and return is very convent, not waiting on shuttle, or check out line with rental company. We would recommend to everyone. Thank you Kyle
Good: Prompt responses, car was where he said it would be, and the car worked out well. Bad: 1. Unwilling to communicate up front. I would ask multiple questions via message and got one word or one sentence responses that didn't address all my concerns. 2. Had to be reminded to drop the car off at the parking garage (not pick me up) even though he previously agreed to drop it off. Even when I called him to discuss some details, he blew me off and said "he would send me everything I needed the day of," which didn't answer all my questions. 3. There was a low tire pressure sensor when I picked the car up that he tried to easily dismiss without telling me he had checked the tires before hand and knew the sensor was bad, he just keep saying "it's probably fine." Not with my family in the car flying down I70! He should have let me know ahead of time there was a bad sensor but that he checked all the tires and they are per the spec. All in all, if you get a good car without any issues, he does a decent job, but I think he still has a lot to learn to become a top-notch Turo renter, like taking a little more time for customer service.
I was attending a wedding in Denver, and needed a vehicle that could haul my wife, my young son, my mother-in-law, and our luggage. Kyle's Sienna hit the spot - spacious, comfortable, and cheaper than a minivan from any regular rental place. It may be 10+ years old, but this van is top-of-the-line - leather, automatic and remote-operated sliding doors and liftgate, HVAC vents throughout, satellite navigation. I'd definitely rent it again - best choice I made for this trip.
We noticed right off the bat that the interior was pretty dirty, but it didn't bother us too much. The car ran well and was great otherwise; the tires were rather worn and the alignment was noticeably wonky, but it didn't seem to have any other problems besides these. However, on the morning of the last day of our 3-day trip, we noticed that the inside of the front tires (especially the driver's side) was completely worn down to the metal radial strip. It is extremely dangerous to drive on tires with that degree of wear, as the likelihood of blowout gets really high when you can see the radial strip. We were about an hour and a half from Denver when we found out how bad the tires were, and we immediately called Kyle to figure out where to go from there. We called him for help as to what to do, and even offered to get the tire replaced out there, as we were apprehensive about driving back to Denver with the tires in that state. Communication was difficult. The Sienna did not even have a spare tire! We and Kyle came to the conclusion to just drop the car back in Denver, which we did, but it was an unnerving ride back. Kyle apologized, told us he'd have the tire fixed immediately, and tried his best to help us out given the circumstances, and was very gracious to let us use one of his other vehicles for the last few hours of our trip (which we really appreciated him doing).
The main reason we're giving this trip 2 stars is the safety issue concerning the tire, as well as other minor dissatisfactions like cleanliness and frustration with communication. That being said, Kyle was very reassuring that he'd get the tires fixed promptly, and did his best to accommodate us.
Just make sure to check everything in the car before you leave (interior, tires, electronics, etc).
We had to book at the last minute to pick up some live oak equipment. Kyle was awesome to work with and even suggested a different vehicle as to not worry about weather. IM GLAD HE DID! Will never rent from another person again as long as Kyle has a vehicle available we will rent from him!!! THANK YOU Kyle, stop by the bar sometime and we will buy you a drink!!!!

Kyle is an awesome host-- 5 starts! I rented his car for a trip to Colorado, and I wasn't sure how smoothly the rental would go because 1) this was my first time using Turo, and 2) traveling with my baby (1yr), I wasn't sure how easily I'd find the car, get to and from the airport, and keep the baby patient at the same time. But everything went well! Kyle sent clear instructions on where to find the car at the airport. Then we dropped off the car at his house, and his brother kindly drove us to the airport (he was also super nice) for no charge. :)
The Sienna was perfect for our ski trip to Colorado. We had 5 of us flying in to Denver with bags, and snowboards. We needed something this big for our 4.5 hour drive down to Crested Butte, and it was nice being able to save a couple hundred dollars by not getting a car through a rental place. Kyle was also very flexible with our group, and was very responsive.
