a few miles from Madison airport.
Real nice Looking Porsche Boxster Fully Loaded - Convertible, leather seats,
Head turner style.
IUt has a decent sound system with a Cd tray for 6 cds (but if you are like me you wont need it because the sound of the Flat 6 are better then music), 2 trunks (trunk and "frunk").
Definitely No smoking and no pets are allowed.
The vehicle is parked in a garage. If you will be bringing your car to pick up mine, you are more than welcome to keep your car parked here at no charge.
It only has around 53,000 miles and runs like a Porsche should run!
Automatic transmission with paddles, electric convertible, rear wheel drive.
Has seen rain around 2 or 3 times. reason why I would avoid bad weather days.
Please refuel with supreme gasoline minimum 91, 93 required most of the time. Any other kind of gas below 91 may stop the ignition because the oxygen sensor will read a below expected octanes (believe me on that one , you don't want end up calling a friend to bring some gas to some small town in Wisconsin that only carries 89 gas )
* You must be at least 21 (usually 25) to rent ANY car on Turo.
* I am not able to rent the car "on the side" without Turo involvement. My personal insurance doesn't cover renting the car so I need Turo for insurance.
* The price is not negotiable. These cars are my babies and I am willing to rent them for people to enjoy them as much as I do. If you are like me and want every nice car in the world but can only have 2 or 3 this is your and my chance of trying different rides without actually buying them or paying the absurd fees of exotic/sport/nice car rentals agencies.
2001 Porsche BoxsterEdy's Porsche1553
Edy's a great, friendly guy, and the car was everything I hoped for- fast, slick handling, and an absolute joy with the top down. Will rent again.
The ride was great. A perfect day with my wife. It was an early Father's Day gift and couldn't have been better. The car was in great shape inside and out. Edy went through everything on the car upon arrival. Very informative about the car. We enjoyed talking to him. The return of the car was just as pleasant. The Turo site itself needs some better way of informing you about insurance upfront. It also needs a live contact number of someone you can get in touch with when the booking goes wrong. Due to the timing of emails, the first request had timed out. There were no instructions on the site what to do if this happened. I ended up calling the emergency line that was listed in support. The person we got a hold of was great and solve everything within a few minutes. Thumbs up to a good site and a good ride. Glenn
