Please send me a message in advance to make sure I can deliver. I live 12 miles from PDX. I work Monday-Friday 6am-4pm and generally take lunch at 11. I'm only available to deliver outside of my working hours, and I can meet you for pickup on my lunch. I'm flexible for meeting you another time during the day, but please check with me first.
You can return it fully cleaned, in the same condition you pick it up, OR you can pay me to clean it to save you time. I'll run it through a full service car wash when I get back for $50. Please notify me if this is your plan, as I'll be upset if the car is returned filthy without such a request.
Don't like the idea of paying for gas or polluting the environment? Have you been thinking about buying a Nissan Leaf, but wanted the full experience first? This is your chance!
The leaf is fully electric and has a single charge range of about 80 miles depending on driving habits. There are a vast number of charging stations in the Portland area, so with minor planning you should be fully charged while out and about. I highly recommend staying in the Portland metro area unless you plan your trips and charging stations in advance.
I will demonstrate how to charge the car, and I'm happy to answer any questions you have about the car.
The leaf SL is the highest trim level, so it has leather heated seats front and rear, heated steering wheel, navigation, premium sound.
The level 1 (plugs into any standard 110v outlet) charger is included with the car. This charger is great for charging overnight as it will take 22hours to charge from 0%-100%.
Level 2 (220v) chargers are located around the Portland area and are incredibly easy to use. The level 2 will charge the car from 0%-100% in roughly 4 hours.
DC quick charge chargers are less common, but they charge the car from 0%-100% in roughly 30 minutes. They are incredibly convenient if you plan to do a lot of driving.
I have a level 2 charger at my home and the car will be 100% charged upon pick-up. No need to charge the car upon return to the home destination. If you leave the car at a charger, please leave it plugged in so I can make it back home.
I highly recommend downloading the PlugShare app to find level 2 (220v) chargers or DC quick chargers located around the Portland area as well as those members kind enough to share their home chargers (generally for free).
Please no dogs, no smoking, and please vacuum and run the car through a car wash if it's has gotten reasonably dirty.

Nathan was great to work with! This was my first time using an electric car so he took time to educate me on how his car works. I had no issues with the vehicle or with working with him at all. I would definitely rent a vehicle from him in the future.
As a first time EV car user, overall a great experience with driving the car. Only thing I would have done differently is pre-download charge access apps (as Nathan suggested) or apply for charging station access cards PRIOR to car pick up. Thankful for the helpful driver of another EV car who let me charge on her access card while I was in Portland. Would rent again in the future....but with my new charge point card with me! :) Thanks Nathan!
Nathan was gracious, punctual, very good at communication, and helpful. His Leaf is very clean and super fun to drive. There is a learning curve because of the need for charging, but Nathan will teach you what you need to know. It will charge though the ordinary plug in your garage, but you have to stay on top of it. Great experience - thank you!
