Q was so awesome! I flew in at 6 am from Alaska and he made sure to still pick me up and make sure everything went smoothly so I would have an awesome first experience using Turo. He was a wealth of knowledge, really nice and helpful. I definitely recommend using his cars. Who doesn't love a Prius!
Overall, this was an excellent experience. I was met at the airport, dropped Q off at their place, and was on my way. The car's check-engine light was on, but Q, an auto mechanic, explained what the issue was and told me I didn't need to worry about it. The car was reasonably clean and, as promised, I had no issues with it.
At the end of your trip, you'll bring the car back to Q, but be sure to pay careful attention to the drop-off site. There are a cluster of buildings and it's easy to get confused: I did.
Q provided great service through Turo. He was quick to respond to messages when issues arose. His friend Mike picked and dropped us off at the airport. He was very friendly and welcoming. The only thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the car. There were several pieces of trash inside the car from previous renters. Overall, the entire process was smooth.
My boyfriend and I had a great experience with Q's car. Q picked us up from the airport and dropped himself off to his shop nearby. The car itself was very clean, well maintained and was exactly what we needed to get around Seattle easily. Q was also very accommodating to our needs when problems arose and made sure that our stay in Seattle was perfect. Thanks so much!
Q has a ton of 5-star ratings, so I must've caught him on a bad hair day. He wasn't able to hand me the car at the agreed upon time. Nor was he able to give me the car I originally requested. I only docked one star because he made a couple honest mistakes and between him and his brother, they did everything in their power to make things right. Past that, I appreciate them getting me to the airport quickly when I was slowed down by the car getting an unexpected flat. 5-stars weren't earned, 3-Stars isn't warranted, so 4-stars it is this time.
Q sent his brother to deliver the car, and he was 30 mins late. From there, the car was messy and dirty, and was also left with stuff from the previous driver. Originally, I was to drop off the car on Monday at 8:30 pm, however, from I was staying to where he was, it was a 40 min drive... kind of making it impossible for me to get back to where I was sleeping. I had asked drop off the car the next morning at 5:00 am... he decided to charge me a WHOLE day on Turo, which I found unfair, but I had no choice.
Other than that, the prius itself it's a great car to rent, saved a lot of gas :)
The car was great and QB was easy to get a hold of when we needed to. I never met QB face to face which didn't bother me but I could see it bothering some people. The Prius had a funny/unpleasant smell when we got it, kind of like a farm. But because it was so pretty outside during our stay we rode with the windows down a lot so it wasn't too bad for us. It was nice having a fuel efficient car. We drove probably 5-600 miles or so and only spent about $40 on gas. Overall, I'd definitely use one of QB's cars again if I had the opportunity to.
This was my first time using Turo and it was fantastic. I got a Prius from them for $39/day in the height of a Seattle summer. Rental cars were going for $89+ this same week. Don't expect a brand new car, but if you're OK with a used car that is as clean as a used car can get, then this is the car for you. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that QB and crew were a bit late in picking me up, but to their credit they texted me to let me know their whereabouts, so all was good. I highly recommend this type of rental car, and QB has plenty of cars to choose from. He and his crew were so nice and very helpful.
