The Nissan Figaro is a convertible, right-hand-drive coupe introduced at the Tokyo Auto Show in 1989. Made at the height of Japanese cultural power, it was a statement car marketed under the slogan “back to the future”. It mates the styling of a classic European car with (then) modern conveniences like a CD player, automatic transmission, leather seats, convertible top, electric windows, and a turbocharger. This is one of the very few Nissan Fígaros on the road in the U.S.
As a classic car, it’s exempt from certain U.S. regulations, and remains right hand drive. It is completely legal to drive in the U.S., and has classic car plates.
This car turns heads and draws crowds wherever it goes. You can easily get up to highway passing speeds, but might prefer cruising slowly by curious onlookers with the top down.
At your request, I can fit the trunk rack and include a picnic basket perfect for a fun afternoon or evening!
