For those not familiar with the Kia Optima, I should clarify this is a mid-size sedan class vehicle -- the class of cars that include the Hyundai Sonata, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and Chevrolet Malibu. But there are some things that make it stand out in its class......
This 2012 Kia Optima SX Turbo version is the premium edition of the Kia Optima. It has a black exterior and black leather interior. Unlike most vehicles on the road, it has heated seats in the rear * and ventilated (along with the heated) front seats.
It drives nicely in both Eco and Sports modes. The turbo in the Optima won't have you winning car races --- and please don't race the car anyway :-) --- but it gives a nice punch and pick up when needed, more than some of the "pretend-turbo" in some other cars I've driven. If you prefer not to drive in a straight automatic mode, you can use paddle shifters with the sterring wheel or gear shifter in the center console.
The car has various other features including a panoramic sun roof (front opens all the way; rear can be covered or see through glass), which is awesome; USB and other audio inputs; bluetooth; voiced commands, climate control, etc. I briefly drove for Uber and Lyft this past summer and received a lot of positive comments. Between that and renting on Turo, I strongly suspect she has led to a few people making Optima purchases. (Why didn't I think to arrange referral monies with dealers? :-)) Oh, yes, it's a her. My daughter handles the naming and identification of the gender of our cars.
So, whether you're waiting for your own car to be fixed in the shop, just want to try something different, or are in town for a while needing something to drive, meet Spiral. She may seem a little shy when you first see her. But she'll quickly reveal she's friendly and will show you a good time.
* For comparison, I have Mercedes E-class listed on Turo which has a lot of features and refinement. And even my Mercedes doesn't have heated rear seats.
Regarding Delivery Options: I may be able to make other arrangements for delivery. There are times when I have to remove the delivery option from this listing to avoid setting false expectations as it won't always be feasible. If I can't make arrangements on a case-by-case basis to deliver the vehicle, I can probably help you find low cost alternatives to pick the vehicle up when needed.
