Turo asks you to:
"Rent the Car, Own the Adventure."
Scion used to ask:
"What moves you?"
We (my husband and I) ask:
"What moves your adventure?"
We introduce you to our 2006 Scion xA "Little Gray Golfball"
This Scion xA was formerly called "The Runabout," but unfortunately due to a thunderstorm its top looks more like a golfball. But there is still some good in this, we have theorized that since golfballs have dimples to go further this concept should help this little Scion xA go further as well.
If you aren't familiar with the Scion brand be assured that they are very reliable vehicles built by Toyota. They existed in Japan as the Toyota IST before being brought to the USA in 2003. If you look under the hood you will see that the engine still wears the Toyota engine cover. Scion was originally marketed to the younger crowds as a blank canvas that one could customize to express their individuality.
The Golfballs features:
1.5L fuel efficient (28/31mpg) gas motor
McPherson tuned suspension
child seat anchors
60/40 folding rear seat
*GPS available on request.
While it may look small on the outside, it does have a large amount of space on the inside. My husband is 6 foot 3 and fits comfortably with plenty of head room.
We look forward to helping move you on your next adventure!!

Super clear communication, super punctual and helpful! The little car gets great gas mileage. Good rental for the price! My only complaint would be that the aux cord didn't work well and maybe an air freshener and vacuum to clean it up a bit. All great with my first Turo experience! Recommend!
Stacy and Cody were both very kind to me. The reason for the 4 is because the trip ended up being a little inconvenient for me. The car needed new ignition coils and I had taken the car to a friend's place in Tyler (2 hrs from Dallas). They were very kind to show up and fix the car. I was worried that the car wouldn't get fixed, but they found out what happened and fixed it. Only problem was that I was so far away so I wasted a few hours waiting. They refunded me 10% for the trouble, which was kind, and the right thing to do. The car itself is a little easily blown around by traffic and the wind as an FYI. The turo staff were also extremely helpful!
Super reliable car - very fuel efficient and great to park around anywhere in Dallas. Stacy and her husband were great and always responsive when any questions came up. I was also able to extend the rental with no issues. Highly recommend the car to anyone!
The car was just an average car, but it was clean and cozy. What made the trip was the flexibility of the owners. I arrived late in the day and dropped it off early and the owners worked with my schedule. The rental was also an excellent deal, and the gas mileage was superb (40 mpg on the highway is what I calculated).
Everything went great, the car worked well, good fuel economy. and my wife and I and 4 suitcases fit without a problem. Stacy and Cody were great to work with as well, quick to answer my questions and the airport delivery and pick up was great. We had a great vacation, and this reliable car was key.
Stacy + Cody's xA was the perfect car for our time in Dallas. I hope to rent it again in the future! The rear right window doesn't roll down, but that's the only thing that didn't work right. We really enjoyed our first Turo experience! Stacy + Cody made it easy.
There is a little hail damage on the roof. And the windshield has a crack. But the price was amazing. It was just what I needed. The AC blew cold (which was critical for a June TX day). Great gas mileage. Super pleased. Stacy's husband was super nice. I was running late and he let me extend the rental another day instead of charging me late fees. So pleased.
The 'Little Black Gilf Ball' and its owners were great to work with! String customer service. Easy pick-up and drop-off. Bigger vehicle than it looks in the photo (I'm 6'2" and had plenty of room). Great sight lines, decent pick-up, and amazing gas mileage.
Had the car for 3 months, enjoyed it very much. Very friendly people, had good contact with them. Everytime they kept their agreements. Their word was their word.
Car was good, very good milage per gallon .
