The quintessential American muscle car - the 1967 GTO. This 2 door coupe is finished in Mariner Turquoise with black vinyl roof and black interior. Automatic transmission featuring the Hurst dual-gate "his/hers" shifter. The only visible difference on this car from factory appearance is 17" American Racing alloys and blackwall tires, which lend an aggressive yet tasteful "resto-mod" look to the car.
I have owned this car since 1990, and it was fully restored in 1992.
The engine is the factory-original 400 cubic-inch (6.6 liter) Pontiac V8, and was rebuilt in 2015/2016.
Important notes about this car:
-> Car requires high-octane fuel, and lots of it.
-> Best for special events and quick trips.
This car does not drive like a modern vehicle. It is a time-capsule of the 1967 driving experience. Please be prepared to allow for extra space between traffic because cars in 1967 did not stop or handle like cars we know these days.
Given the above, we highly recommend that trips not be scheduled that involve distances greater than 35 miles from the car's home zip code. Arrangements can be made for you to pick the car up in either Dallas (75226) or Plano (75023).
Authorized for on-road use only. Absolutely no racing or abuse will be tolerated.
