Please take good care of my little car. My mother always taught me to return anything you borrow in at least as good shape as you got it, if not better. Take care of me and I promise I will take care of you :) Don't have time to clean it before dropping off? No problem! I can clean the car for you for the indicated cleaning fee. - If I can't clean the car properly before returning it, is that a problem? Not at all! I will clean it and will charge a cleaning fee. - How do I operate the convertible top? Put the transmission in Park and the key in the On position. Above the rearview mirror, where the convertible top meets the top of the windshield, you will see a square button. Press the button, and at the same time, pull the mechanical lever down completely. Once that's complete, press and hold the convertible down button on the right side of the dashboard until the top is completely folded and the cover has closed. Wait until you hear a beep, then release the convertible down button. Complete! To put the convertible top up, put the transmission in Park and the key in the On position. Press and hold the convertible top up button and keep it depressed until the rear cover is closed and you hear a beep. Then press the mechanical lever up until it is completely closed. Faqs

  • How do I operate the Bluetooth and Auxiliary Audio cable found in the glovebox?
For Bluetooth: Push the CD button on the dash until you see "EX 1" on the digital display. Then go into your phone's bluetooth settings and find the bluetooth module labeled "GTA Car Kit" and pair your phone with the car. Make sure your phone's volume is up all the way and then control the volume with the knob on the dashboard. Push the Next Track button on the dash or the steering wheel to advance the track. For Phone Calls while using Bluetooth: You have to be in "EX 1" mode to handle calls, so push the CD button until "EX 1" appears on the digital display. You can answer the call by using your phone or by pushing the Next Track buttons either on the dashboard or on the steering wheel. You just can't reject calls using any button in the car, you need to do that using your phone. For Auxiliary Audio: Push the CD Button on the dashboard until "EX 1" appears on the digital display. Then, push the Disc Up button to go into "EX 2" mode for the auxiliary function to work. Make sure your phone's volume is up all the way and then control the volume with the knob on the dashboard. Push the Next Track button on the dash or the steering wheel to advance the track. If you have an iphone, you can charge it by using the included cable in the glovebox.

I owned a Miata over 20 years ago, so when I was in Austin recently and saw this car on Turo, I knew it was the one I needed to drive for my time here. It was just as much fun to drive now as it was over 20 years ago. The car was clean and drove perfectly, and Gary was super easy to work with and very communicative. I will definitely be returning to Austin later this year and will be looking to rent this little gem again!

Gary was professional, friendly, and helpful with the whole trip! Such a fun car! Also, with the recently added BlueTooth system for audio the experience was memorable in the best possible way! Would recommend and rent again!

Great little ride! Gary was super easy to work with. Hope this car is available on my next visit to Austin.

Gary made this as easy as I can imagine. The car is great, just make sure you know the size of a Miata, because it is small.
