This rarely use car is reliable for short or long trip. It has toll tag which is good for all toll roads in Texas.

Airport delivery- I leave the car at the airport for you. I normally leave it 2 hrs prior to your arrival. On return, you would just leave it at the airport so you are never late for your flight. It costs about $20 for rideshare to my place from the airport.

Alan was great to work with. If you deal with him, there's not a more honest person to rent from. He was very helpful with my schedule, and I was able to use the car during a time where you could not find a car to rent in Austin because the major car rental places had shipped all of their inventory to Houston to help survivors from Hurricane Harvey. Thanks to Alan I was able to make my trip in Austin a success.
Front tires are worn to the wear bars and the AC/heater control panel lighting is intermittent and when on has at least a couple burned out bulbs. Makes it difficult to make climate control changes at night without either distraction or stopping to turn on the dome light.
Alan was a great Turo host, providing prompt communication and clear instructions for pick up and drop off. Alan's corolla was reliable and drove well. Alan also provided toll tags for our convenience.
Everything went as planned and Alan was extremely prompt in responding and flexible on car pick up and drop off. I would and will rent again from Alan and this car or other cars. The only thing from being a 5 star is the car I chose is a bit older so it ran fine, but the Toyota Corolla is not a 5 star ride, but I still would use again as it was priced perfectly for the car age. Happy to recommend Alan as a vehicle owner and look forward to further trips with Alan's Toyota or other cars.
Alan was a great person to rent from. He was super responsive, left the car for me with very specific instructions on how to find it. The tank was full and the car was in great shape - especially for a 2004. I was very impressed. I definitely felt like if I needed anything Alan would be right there for me. Thanks Alan!
I had rented Alan's car for around 20 days. For the first 15 days, the car worked really well, but in the last week, the car broke down twice (due to faulty battery).
After the first breakdown at a natural reserve, the park rangers helped me jumpstart the car. I submitted a complain to both Turo and Alan. Turo told me to inform Alan and I did that. Alan came and checked the car and assured me that this issue wouldnt happen again.
So the next day, I have to take the car to another city and guess what the car breaks down again. While Alan was always prompt with his replies I was really disappointed by the roadside assistance provided by Turo which almost took an hour to connect and after talking to me put me on hold again for some time. This is clearly unacceptable for roadside emergencies.
Luckily, a friend who lives in that city helped me out and after three hours we were able to sort the car trouble again.
Apart from these two major incidents, Alan delivered the car on time, was easily reachable and was a good host (apart from sorting the car issue). The car is a 2008 model so as expected does not have cruise control and other modern features but has been maintained decently well. If Alan replaces the battery then hopefully such issues will not be repeated.
Though, after this I will be skeptical about renting another car from Turo again.
Car was dirty when picked up. Low tired pressure light was on from the start. Car ran decently. Maintenance light came on halfway through my trip. Average ride overall. Alan was easy to work with, though, and I honestly would recommend his rides to any one needing a quick last minute car without having to spend an arm and a leg.
