2015 Chevrolet VoltRyan's Chevrolet Volt15516
Car is awesome conditioned, and smooth. Ryan is really really nice, anyway, it's definitely a great experience!
I had a great time renting Ryan's Chevy Volt. Ryan was communicative and a pleasure to work with. He was flexible with my pickup and drop-off times, which I appreciate as my schedule during this trip could be a bit unpredictable. The car was exactly as advertised, and suited my needs well. Ryan keeps it clean and in good condition.
Something to note: this is a first generation Volt, not a second.
My only nitpicks are about the Volt as a car, and have nothing to do with Ryan. As a previous reviewer noted, the Volt can be a bit uncomfortable if you are taller than 5'10". I'm 6 feet tall, and found that I often had to bend down and crane my neck to see traffic lights. Overall though I enjoyed the car: fun to drive and efficient. A nice taste of the EV experience!
Ryan is very easy to work with and very responsive. Picking up and dropping the car off is a breeze with his ability to remotely lock and unlock it. The car was clean and the Chevy Volt is fun to drive! I ended up charging the car halfway through my trip and didn't use any fuel.
Car was delivered quite dirty on the outside which was a bit annoying given that I had to wash it before I returned it, but was otherwise in great shape. Ryan took the time to explain how everything worked and was super helpful throughout the whole process.
Plus, the car runs on batteries for the first 30 or so miles, so I only paid $5 to fill it up after driving it for 3 days. That was really great!
One note for tall people - The Volt has a decidedly small front cabin, and I found myself repeatedly hitting the ceiling because I was unable to lower the seat. If you're over 5'10", this probably isn't the car for you. If you're under that height, this is a great choice!
We had a bit of a snafu in the beginning to pick up the car, but Ryan promptly addressed it and allowed me to skip the car wash at the end as a favor for the inconvenience. The car was great and would definitely rent again.
