If I am available to deliver the car I will meet you out front of the baggage claim doors.
If I am not available I will deliver the car to the Myrtle Beach International Airport in the short term parking just across from the baggage claim doors with the key in a lock box at which we can discuss the details.
If I am NOT AVAILABLE to deliver, the car will be located at 610 Seabreeze Dr. Murrells Inlet SC 29576 which is a short Uber ride of 12 miles at approx. $10 to $13.
I have rented from Christine before, and just when you think the experience can't get any better she proved that EXCELLENCE is a way of life for her. I had trouble downloading the app to comply but Christine going over and beyond the call of duty confidently and carinly demonstrated genuine care. She is what good customer service looks like, if only every Turo experience could be like this in every state Turo would excel and tremendously grow. Christine is the vehicle to rent when in the Myrtle Beach area. I'll have to try out the brand new Toyota Camry next. 😃. Talk about "Divine appointments" and being ready for them! Blessings! I had no interaction with Christine other than booking the vehicle. She sent her Mom to meet me, at a house, to pick up the vehicle. The vehicle appeared fine. I did not think to look at the tread on the tires. Within 10 miles I got a flat tire and was stranded on the side of the road. I literally was waiting for assistamce for over three hours. Many pulled over and asked if I needed help. I declined and told them I was waiting for a tow truck. After much frustration, for waiting so long, for a professsional company ti help me I finally accepted help from a strange man who pulled over and put my donut on. He indicated that the tire was unsafe, the tread was below the 2/32 tread bar indicator, and any garage should of picked up on this. He showed me and I then saw there was practically no tread on both the rear tires. I did call them, told them about being stranded within only 10 miles of driving the vehicle, and they took no action. When I turned in the vehicle once again her mother was there. I explained the entire situation to her, showed her the tires, advised her that this put a damper on my vacation between the hours being stranded and there being too long of a wait at the service center. I was limited in driving, and, I had an itinerary to follow for my vacation. The Mom was very nice and said she would address this matter to her daughter. I told her it did ruin a lot of my vacation and I expected to be compensated for the dangerous vehicle they rented me. Apparently they don't think this requires immediate attention because it is now August 18th and I have not heard back from either the Mom, or Christine. This is my first experience with Turo. I am a completely dissatisfied customer. Could someone please take the appropriate measures with this situation so other are not put in a dangerous situation, also compensate me.
