This was my 5th trip with Turo, but by far my worst experience. I have never had any problem in the past and always dealt with punctual and reliable people, however, this time was different.
Ralph is a nice guy, but unfortunately cannot be relied on. I booked his car days in advance to make sure he would have time to prepare the car and still had all the following issues: - He tried to cancel at the last minute by making up fake excuses; - Then decided to rent his car it as planned, but was an hour and a half late; - The pick-up location was different than the one listed on Turo; - The exterior of the car was dirty (not a problem to me, but could be a problem to some); - The gaz tank was only 1/4 full; - The windshield washer reservoir was empty (needless to say that it was dangerous to figure it out on the highway at 7pm on a snowy day).
With all this, I ended up being 2 hours late at a business meeting, and might lose an important client.
I will seriously consider going back to Enterprise or Avis in the future because I can't risk being 2 hours late every time I need a car.
