This is very nice slick sleeper ride. Has plenty of power and yet very economical. Great commuter car. Has tinted windows all power options. In great shape.

I understand things happen and as long as we have ongoing contact and you are running late within a reasonable amount of time it will not apply late fees. Late fees will be applied once is determined you have violated Turo return policy.
Late fees are described on Turo fees and fines page, and begin to accrue the minute that the car is late. They are billed in increments of an hour (i.e., if the car is 15 minutes late, the renter is responsible for the first hour's late fee, and not 1/4 of that late fee). In the event of very substantial lateness, additional fines may be assessed.
ADDITIONAL MILEAGE FEES
Mileage is set and included for daily, weekly, and monthly trips. When requesting a trip, the traveler will see the included mileage for that trip. The traveler is responsible to pay for each mile driven over the stated included mileage.
Guests are responsible for replacing any gas used during the rental, using the appropriate fuel (i.e., regular, premium, or diesel). If a car has less gas at the trip end than it did at the start of the trip, I will contact Turo and submitting a request for reimbursement for the cost of gas.
Although I appreciate when a vehicle is returned in clean condition, I do not charge a cleaning fee to vehicles reflecting normal wear. In order to avoid cleaning charges my vehicle should be returned in the same condition it was rented in. If my car comes back “dirty,” there may be a cleaning fee charged to the rental. Cleaning fees varies.
This vehicle is considered non smoking rental car. Cleaning fees may be charged if a vehicle is returned in a condition where it needs to be cleaned and deodorized due to being smoked in.
Due to leather interior NO pets are allowed in this vehicle.

Eric provided me all of the information I needed to successfully pickup/return the car without any serious issues. He responded to all of my messages promptly and was pretty good to work with.
Some of the other reviews for Eric's cars mentioned having to take selfies, and texts towards the end of the rental telling you to wash the car to avoid fees and so on. I also experienced these and would prefer if everything was laid out in advance and not so impersonal. Receiving 6 to 7 automated text messages with tons of information is not great in my opinion - especially when I confirm the week of the rental with Eric to make sure everything is on track and he tells me he will send me all the information I need to pick up the car the day of the trip, but I don't get that information until my flight lands and I reach out to him and he wants pictures of me before he can allow me to the car, etc.
The experience was impersonal because most Turo cars these days are from people renting many many cars, so it's not like it used to be when most Relay Riders just had a single car. This is making for worse renter experiences and the people renting the cars take more precautions to protect themselves and their business naturally.
That being said - Eric was fair and the car got me where I needed to go.
Renting Eric's car was a good experience, and the car was in good condition. Eric was clear in his communication and the arrangement to pick up the car from the Max station not far from the airport was logical. Overall I am pleased with the car and the experience.
One thing that came as a surprise and was a significant inconvenience was that after I picked up the car, I got a message from Eric saying I had to get the car washed on the outside and vacuumed on the inside in order to avoid a charge of up to $200. This was unexpected and an inconvenience. I found it difficult to find a car cleaning place that was open at the right time at the end of my visit to Portland. I had to get up extra early and be the first in line at a 'car spa' and race to get the car washed and still make it to the airport in time for my flight. I ended up cutting it too close for comfort to catch my flight. It could be that this requirement was in the fine print on the listing, though if it's there, I didn't see it. I would recommend Eric remove this requirement for the future. Otherwise, it was a good experience, and I'd recommend it.
This was my first time using Turo. The car was fine and clean, and I had no problems there. However, it should be noted that this is not an airport pick up. You have to take the MAX (and pay for it; $5 round trip) to a Subway parking lot to find the car. It is a bit of an issue doing it for the first time, and it felt like a goose chase, but, now that I know where all of these things are (MAX, MAX stop, parking lot, etc), it would be easy to do it again.
The messages coming from Eric were confusing, but, again, because it was the first time Ive ever used this system.
It doesnt make sense to me that we have to pay $50 to get the car from airport when car is not at airport.
This was still cheaper than renting from a rental car place, so I am happy; and like I said, there were no problems with the car. It wasn't the most convenient, but I did save money overall so am glad I did it and would do it again.
This was our very first time using Turo to rent a car and it was absolutely the best experience thanks to Eric. Eric knows what he is doing and the car was ready and waiting for us when we arrived just as he promised. He was professional and responded very quickly to all of my messages. Definitely rent from Eric! You will not be disappointed.
Such a different experience then my last Turo rental! (Thank goodness) The car was clean, looked exactly like the pictures and so nice to drive. Pickup and drop off were super easy. Thanks so much Eric and Linda!
Eric was really prompt and professional with all of our communication. He arranged for me to pick the car up from the airport parking lot. The Prius was clean both inside and out and served well throughout my time in Portland. My only critique is that I was not expecting to have to pay for the parking fee when I picked up the car, as I was expecting to meet in person, but other than that, the rental was great.
Eric's Prius was perfect for getting around Portland. He was easy to communicate with and friendly. Tigard is a bit out of the way to pick up the car but it was worth it since it was such a good deal. Thank you!
