Nissan Leaf is a 100% electric, zero-emissions vehicle, with a range of up to 80 miles on a single charge (depending on driving your driving habits).
Fun and easy car to drive with heated seats and heated steering wheel.

Peter was very friendly and accommodating throughout our trip in Portland. He was also willing to go out of his way to for our convenience which is another plus. As for the Leaf, be aware that this is a city car and may be difficult if you're planning to travel outside the boundaries of Portland.
Peter was a great host. Although I selected a certain time for renting, he was able to work with my change in flight schedule. He went above and beyond to make sure he was able to meet me at the airport when I arrived. Great trip & ride.
I had a great experience renting Peter's Leaf. He was super nice and accommodating. My flight had a 2 hour delay, so Peter parked the car by Ikea and even left me $10 for the inconvenience. Granted, I used the money to go through the car wash, haha, but I thought that was nice of him. The car was pretty dirty, but kinda added to the idea of renting a strangers car. The leaf definitely gave us the Portlandia experience.
Met a bunch of hipster leaf owners while charging the car which were also super nice and seemed to love the leaf community. I didn't realize you only get about 75 miles to a charge, so if you don't mind stopping and charging your car every day, then you'll probably really enjoy Peter's leaf. It takes about 30 mins to charge and cost about $7.50 per charge. But again, it added to the whole Portlandia experience. Peter was great to rent from, and I would recommend renting from him.
Peter is a great guy to rent from! The Leaf was awesome, too! He explained how it worked, how to charge it, and was very easy going with my hectic inability to navigate Portland as swiftly as I wanted to WITHOUT a car. And this car was such a luxury for my college-kid budget while in town visiting my folks--a genuine life saver. I actually saved money, since I didn't have to buy gas, so I was able to drive all over for the weekend to see my friends and go on some fun adventures around the city. I would recommend this if you're looking for something fun and easy to zip around town in. I was glad to rent it!
Peter is a super nice guy and easy to work with. The Leaf is a great little car. Around town its great. I tried making a trip down to Eugene and being a nubie to an all electric I was in for a surprise. If I had signed up a couple weeks earlier with the AeroVironment charging network and had already received their fob key it would have worked out much better. But instead was calling in for them to remote activate the chargers but they were having issues with the quick chargers so I ended up on the slower charges which made my trip a bit longer than expected. If you're planning to stick around town this is a great car for that. If you are planning to head out of town just make sure to do your research and proper prep... unlike your's truly.
