The car is only useful for inner city stuff. CAUTION...Do not use car for long distance travel, as you will be spending most of your time charging the car and being stressed out looking for charging stations.
Solid car, enjoyable experience, good value. Joe made things clear through messages via the Turo portal: with an electric car, there are definitely some things you have to be aware of, chief among them being the distance to recharge, which is only about 80 miles. I rented the Leaf for a day and charged it once with a home 110V- 1.5 hours only got me 5 miles more to the next recharge, so you really do have to charge it with a 220V or a 440. To his credit, Joe spells all this out.
I returned the car on time and texted Joe with its location and a photo. Didn't hear back, but I assume all is good. Would be interested in renting it again (even regularly, like every other Friday) and mentioned that in my text, but haven't heard anything back on that.
If you are looking for a quest "charge your leaf" - this car is for you. For 2 days I've been looking for a charger and waited and waited for the car to charge. It drains batteries extremely fast and charging it with fast chargers costs more than gas in my Camry. I will always be looking at Leaf owners with compassion since now.
The car was clean and the owner was helpful.
Thank you for unforgettable experience I wish I could forget I though
