Wow. At first I was unsure of Turo, you know, if its too good to be true it IS. Well, let me tell you it is not, it's a great idea, loved it and finding Benjamin's Pontiac G5 for my recent trip to Canada was one of the highlights. Lets start be saying how amazingly great Ben is, very understanding as thanks to WestJet I arrived in Canada 37 hours late (thats another story), so we were unable to take the car as previously arranged. I kept in touch via e-mail and text and he was very understanding, maybe he uses WestJet too.....lol
Anyway, we eventually met, walked round the car and I took the keys and started what was one of the easiest Rental experiences I have ever had.
The car was nothing special, it is a base model but had everything we needed, it was very economical and pleasant to drive. It was all I expected and more.
When the time came to return it, again Benjamin was very understanding of my seemingly ever changing needs.....lol
The car is back with Benjamin and I am sure that when I return to Toronto, Canada again, I will see if Benjamin has a car available.
I would give Turo and Benjamin 10 out of 10, a great service a great Guy and a great little car.
Thank You for helping me enjoy this trip, it was awesome.
The trip was a two week roadtrip with my girlfriend so naturally it was amazing, however here are some good and bad remarks. Good: Benjamin is flexible and friendly to deal with. We we arriving from a late flight and he was able to meet us still. Car was is good shape except for the below remark. The car handled pretty well and AC blessfully works. It was clean. Bad: the rear driver side door would not close properly for half of the trip and we had to use a bungy. But Benjamin did warn us that it was having difficulties and it was closing at the start. I would say it's more bad luck. All and all a wonderful trip.
Easy to meet to collect and deliver the car. Ben was flexible about the time as well The car is older but in good condition, easy to drive and quite fast Fuel economy is good- I drove about 500kms and used just under a full tank of gas. To fill up was just over $40 Thanks Ben !
