I usually prefer this car to be picked up from my residence because I have small children who can't be left alone. Uber and Lyft are great choices to get you from the airport to this car quickly and cheaply. However, if you really need pickup or drop off service, contact me and if possible, I will try to accommodate.
The car was very economical and EZ to handle-it was perfect to take care of our needs. It was my 1st experience with Turo And I will definitely use the service again! Richard's communication was spot on & made me
Comfortable & confident with using a new service! Very good experience!!!!
Ford got this car right! It handles like it's on rails. On my 10 day trip it averaged 32MPG- with 4 folks in the car, AC on, and getting to 10,000 feet elevations going across 3 states. Sony stereo allowed me to connect my USB media player to listen to audiobooks, I used iPhone's Bluetooth to listen to podcasts/music. Sony rivals BOSE in Infiniti and Audi rides I've had. Remote starting the car allows to cool the interior before you get in. Going in reverse you need to be drunk to hit something as you got both camera and proximity sensors. The 2 litter in the Sport mode pulls strong and throws RPMs as high as 6,000 (for engine braking assist) to help you stop quicker. You can also drive the ultra fast shifting double-clutch tranny manually with up/down shift controls found on the shifter in Tiptronic (aka Steptronic) manual mode.
The car has its share of bells and whistles to make your trip comfy but I guess you won't discover most of them as I did in 10 days, like the sun visor's ability to slide side to side (besides just being flippable and having a mirror with light in it). I liked that it has 360 illumination when you park at a cap site- it gives you 5 feet of light all around the car... I'll leave the rest of my sales pitch to Ford here :)
If you rent a car from Richard, don't be an a-whole, all right? If you prose to return the car at noon- do as you promised. If you return it 2 hours later, you'll make the next renter waste 2 hours of their time.
