This car is a thing of the future! It's electric AND gas. You can expect to drive around 40 miles on a full charge, before the backup gas engine kicks in to take you an other ~300 miles. When running on electric you can drive around stealthily, as the car makes virtually no noise and is super smooth, so I recommend charging it up whenever you get a chance (either on a standard 120v household outlet with the included charge cord, or at a much quicker "Level 2" charging station that you can find at many public parking areas, restaurants, hotels, etc.). Visit Plug Share (plugshare.com) to find the charging stations around where you're driving to.
Either way, you can run on gas the whole time if you really wanted to (but please try to plug in at any given opportunity, since that's the point of having a plug-in vehicle).
Leather heated seats, built-in nav, auto climate control, Bose audio, Bluetooth, aux in, plenty of USB ports, and the fact that this is a plug-in electric car make this vehicle a dream to drive.
Seats 3 passengers plus a driver (4 total), since there are two bucket seats in the back rather than a traditional bench.
EZ-Pass toll transponder is installed in the vehicle so you can quickly and cashless-ly go thru tolls. All I ask is that you leave cash for the cost of the tolls when you return the car. If you're unsure of the cost of a toll, just ask me. If you don't plan on using the EZ-Pass or have your own, I will remove the transponder from the car, so please let me know ahead of time if you don't have your own E-ZPass and think there's a chance you'll be driving through tolls with the vehicle.
Note: If you do use the gas generator (the engine in this car actually generates electricity to power the electric motor when you deplete the battery charge), you'll need to return the vehicle with the tank at the same level that it was when you took possession of it. This vehicle uses premium only, so you'll be asked to show a receipt upon return indicating that you put premium fuel in the tank.
