Amazing 4.2L V8 Ferrari engine in the ultra luxurious meticulously maintained vehicle with just 50k miles. In Italian, “Quattroporte” means “four doors,” but you don’t need to speak the language to appreciate this car's dramatic flair.
If this car isn't available during the times you need, or if you are looking for something a little bit different, you should also check out my other Porsche, Audi, and Mercedes sports cars.
If you've never rented on Turo before, you can use this link to get $25 off your first rental:
Please bring it back clean and ready for use by the next renter. Refuel with premium gas, and post a pic of the receipt to the trip photos or leave the receipt in the glove box.
If you forget to refill the tank, not a problem - you'll be charged for the price of the gas plus a $15 convenience fee.
And don't forget to have fun!
I've never driven a Maserati before - is there anything I need to know?
The Quattroporte is an extremely fun car to drive, but there are a few things that you need to know.
First, when starting the car, it will turn over for several seconds before firing up. This is normal for a Maserati and nothing to worry about.
Second, the check engine light will stay on for 20-30 seconds after starting before turning off. This is also normal for a Maserati.
Finally, the transmission is what's called an automatic manual. You don't need to know how to drive a manual to drive this car, but there are a few quirks. Because there's a clutch, if you stop on a hill, you will roll backwards so you need to hit the gas immediately after taking your foot off the brake. And there is no "Park" in the transmission, so when you are ready to park the vehicle and shut off the engine, you need to first put the transmission into neutral by pulling both of the paddle shifters simultaneously, and then make sure you engage the parking brake or the car will roll away.
How do I pair my phone via Bluetooth?
There's a green phone button on the lower right of the console. Press that for a few seconds to enter pairing mode, which will show up on your phone as TranzIt BLU HF. Once your phone is connected, you can play music and hear phone calls through the first radio station in the presets list.
