My 2006 Mazda3 is a zippy, funloving sedan that looks really good on the interior for an 11 year-old car. "Siempre" has always been by my side - on our trip to Alaska, across the country and throughout the parks of the western US. She has taken me car camping to far-flung places and laughed at me once when I drove her into a shallow ditch in Canada.
The interior is ivory-colored, the fabric seats are extremely comfortable and my car smells clean. Make no mistake - she is a cheap car that is worth every damn penny! The outside is a little battered when you look up close - there are some minor dents and scratches and the gas tank cover takes a little pulling to open. One of her rear seat belts is nonfunctional and the right turn shifter needs to be returned to neutral after turning. What Siempre lacks in sunroof and seat warmers she makes up for in gussiness. There's no country road or big city street that can intimidate this liberated lady.
You may not be driving in class, but you'll be the coolest kid on the block sporting Cali plates in Charm City!
