The car runs well but apart from that it was not a good experience: I couldn't reach Manuel in advance so I picked up the car later than planned and communication was not pleasant. I won't rent this car again.
Manuel met me at the airport for pickup/delivery which was very convenient. He was helpful with any questions I had and told me he would be available in case I had any other questions during my trip. The car itself was comfortable, smooth, and great on gas; I had no problems. Me and my girl friends had a wonderful time in Boston! Thanks!
Due to the hurricaine, my trip plans changed and Turo customer service stated they would give me a full refund due to the situation. However, this was never noted and the trip was never cancelled on their end, causing me to be charged fully as a no show and for Manny to have to come to pick me up anyway or he would be charged as a no show. Manny was very understanding of this situation and gracious to reverse the no show charge which was under his control due to the miscommunication on Turo's end. He was easy to communicate with, and answered all my calls right away. I would definitely work with him again. I appreciate that he didn't charge me even though he lost out on the wages and wasted his time that he could have been using on another fare, which tells me he's an honest and hardworking guy.
