The Nissan Altima is a great car with lots of room for up to 5 people (4 is more comfortable though) and a surprisingly large trunk. The back row seats can be put down to create a larger trunk area or boosted up to have vertical space clear from floor to ceiling. The roof of the car has rack mount that can handle Yakima or Thule cargo.
There is a magnetic phone mount, back up camera, Bluetooth, USB USB port, a separate android and iPhone charger. There are jumper cables and a spare tire in the trunk if needed as well. The starter is push button and as long as you have the key in your pocket, you only need to push the button on the door or trunk to open them.
You should be getting 23-35 MPG out of this 14.5 gallon tank - usually takes you about 400-500 miles on one tank! Car will always have a full tank on pick up and it's expected to be filled completely on return as well please!
I live about 25 minutes walking distance from Davis T Stop in Somerville and there are a number of buses that run nearby. My building has a parking spot, making the pick up and return pretty easy.
There will be no EZ pass in the car so remember to bring cash for the Boston tolls- you'll need at least $3.50 leave East Boston for Sumner tunnel on 1A and more if you plan to take route 90 though there are longer toll-free route options as well.
Please no pets or smoking, I keep the car very clean and would like it back that way too!
Also, please return the car with a full tank of gas as I will do the same for you :)
Thanks and I hope you enjoy your time in Boston!

Easy and quick trip set up, good communication and great car.
We rented Mike's car for a weekend road trip from Boston to Connecticut. Renting from Mike was really easy. We arranged to pick-up the keys in advance, and drop-off was smooth. The car was very new and clean, and drove smoothly. We would happily rent from Mike again for future road trips.
Michael's car was great - and even nicer than the pictures! He has all the charging and audio cords you could want so no worries about your phone dying or running out of tunes. Michael himself is very nice and made the pick up and drop off both smooth.
