This well maintained Chevy Volt is a peppy Extended Range EV. It's got a battery that will give you 30 - 40 miles depending on driving style (if you drive fast and break hard millage does plummet) and a 9-gallon gas tank in case you need to go further. It can be charged for free at Chargepoint stations throughout the city, or I have an at home charger in the trunk. If you'd like to use a bike rack, please note that in your reservation. I have a rack that goes on the back of the car and securely carries two bikes.
Please note that the car only has four seats, the back seats are bucket seats rather than a bench and can't fit a third person.
I hate to even have to say this, but please do not rent this car if you insist on smoking in the car. And in case you were wondering that goes doubly for marijuana. Just don't. If the car is returned and clearly smells I will have to charge you a $250 cleaning fee to have the car deodorized and for the inconvenience it causes. I love using Turo and meeting great renters, but you know people who smoke in the car really just aren't among the folks I love to meet and ... well you get the point, right?
The Volt was a great car to drive. Sean was easy to work with and provided the car with a full tank of gas and full electric charge. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for my first Turo trip.
