Perfect for hauling lots of stuff around!
Plenty of room for up to five people plus all your stuff in the rear or on the roof rack. Anytime you've got a load to carry, whether you're going on a camping trip or just a big grocery run, a trip to Ikea to pick up some new furniture, or getting your project safely to the other end of campus, load it up and enjoy!
Right in the heart of MIT next to Simmons Hall, a quick walk from anywhere in West Campus, and right on the Tech Shuttle route. Easy access from Cambridgeport, the Hyatt, and on the CT2 bus route (from Ruggles to Sullivan).
This car is almost always available all day Monday through Thursday, and Mon. through Weds. overnight.
Note: A comment below says that the rear seats don't fold down. This has been fixed, they work fine, you can carry big stuff.

Used the car before, and will again, god willing, or so they say.
Really cool that it's $4 an hour for now---couldn't care less whether the ac is working or not--a car is a car-- it's meant for driving, people ! --and this one does! Roof rails excellent for moving large mattresses!-- done this twice now.
A mostly pretty good ride, but it sounds like the car needs a checkup -- made a really terrible sound while driving (perhaps a loose timing belt?) and the AC would stop functioning after a few minutes of running. Wouldn't have booked it if I had known there was no AC, particularly the day that I had it! But for quick errands I'm sure it will suffice, and picking up and dropping off in the lot was easy.
super convenient for people at MIT. clean, nice and easy to drive. everything is precisely as described. The Air conditioner does not work very well though, need to recharge. otherwise, almost perfect.
3rd time renting this car and it's reliable and easy to drive. However, the air conditioner is broken and only blows cold air for about 10 minutes. I work at MIT so am familiar with how parking works on campus.
Make sure you read the instructions regarding the car!! I got very confused trying to leave the lot and could not reach the owner to ask...the people at Turo dealt with my stupidity very kindly, thankfully!!
Car was easy and fun to drive. Had not trouble finding it or returning it, was everything that was promised :). The forester in general is a nice car, holds a lot of stuff, ergonomically designed, would TOTALLY rent this again.
Easy. Biked to the parking lot. Car was next to the exit. Txt'd "start", off and running. Roundtrip to Green Mountain College in Vermont. Roomy, mechanically sound, well taken care of. Runs like a top. Thanks!
I love this car, but when I got in, it had tons for Reese's wrappers everywhere and someone had failed to leave the NECESSARY parking pass in the car! Delayed my trip to almost 30mins, thus I had to pay for an extra half hr. Wah. So its obviously the person who took it before I's fault. Not sure if that was the owner or just another RelayRiders.
Had a little trouble turning on the car initially because the steering wheel was all the way in one direction so had to turn it and turn the key at the same time to start the car. Also, although the interior was free of clutter, it could probably use a good vacuuming to get ride of crumbs. Drives fine and there's a lot of trunk space (which I didn't use).
The car was great. Smooth ride and very spacious cargo area.
Turo overcharged me, it is clearly a computer glitch because they duplicated my reservation and are charging me an extra $19 for 15 minutes of usage. It has been several days and nobody from Turo has gotten back to me about their billing error!!! Can someone please get back to me? I am nervous to rent cars again. I understand this is a new company and may have to work out some issues in their system, but I would like to know that I am not going to get dinged by billing errors!!!!
